Dumbledore walked into his office. His chair was the other way round, when it spun back round it revealed a familiar face "you have a lot of cool stuff in here" Rory said with a lolly pop in her mouth
"Rory. What a pleasant surprise" he smiled warmly "what do I owe the pleasure. I also must ask how your sister is with the baby"
"She's good she's good. I'm here because my sister was murdered. And she put the letter P everywhere and it's starting to drive me insane" she said calmly "also" she put her feet down "I've been researching on Horcruxes. I feel like you're the man to tell me"
"Rory this is very deep stuff"
"Times are changing" Rory spoke over him "people are dying and things are becoming a lot worse. Please enlighten me" no one had ever spoke to Dumbledore this way
"Rory"
"Listen I've heard this bullshit from everyone else 'it's too dangerous' and all that, but I can't keep on letting the people I love die" she put her finger on his desk "now I will research and study this until it's the last thing I do. I don't care if it takes years I will find out what you're doing and what you're hiding" she stood up "I know you Albus. I trust you. But I care more about my family. I would do anything and I mean anything for them. I'm placing my faith and trust in you. Don't make me regret it" she started walking out
"Wait" Dumbledore called "and what if I betray your trust Rory. What will happen. What will you do ?"
She turned to him "then I'll become your worst nightmare. Have a nice evening"

Weeks and weeks went by with everything being normal. The only thing was Rory was going insane, Regulus went missing. No note. No traces. Nothing.
Rory was fixated on Marlene. Why did she write the letter P everywhere ? It didn't make sense. It could stand for a name. A place. Even a horcrux. Rory had no clue.
Rory wouldn't stop thinking. Her room was a mess, books about witch craft everywhere and little plans that have all been crossed out.
Rory felt like time was flying bye. It was terrifying. Harry was already one. It terrified her even more.

Severus Snape had made Dumbledore meet with him at an unknown location "what is it Severus ?"
"It's Natasha's boy. You need to hide them" he tried to keep the meeting short "something very bad will happen"
"What"
"There's a prophecy telling the dark lord that the boy born at the end of July will be his match. Therefore destroying him" Severus frowned "she always looked out for me in school. Let me do the same, hide her. He intends to hunt her down and kill them all. He's wanted to kill the whole McKinnon family for a while. Hide them, hide them all. I beg you"
"What will you give me in exchange Severus" Dumbledore walked closer
"Anything".

Hagrid had to break the news to the couple "what ?! Why would he want to hurt Harry" Nat stood up outraged
"It's the prophecy Nat" Hagrid stated "it's true"
James shut his eyes "how do we hide from him ?"
Hagrid frowned "we've got a place for you three to hide. But you must tell only one person where you are. A secret keeper, so they can check on you"
"Sirius" Natasha said straight away "we should tell Sirius"
James shook his head "no. Sirius will be too predictable for him. He knows we're both close to Sirius he bloody lived with us for months. We can't do Remus or Sophie"
"Peter" Nat pointed out "Peter will be unpredictable" she grabbed James's hand "how long do we have to say goodbye ?"
"Three hours" Hagrid stood up "I'm really sorry" Hagrid's voice broke "you know I love ye both don't ya ?"
"Of corse" Natasha hugged Hagrid "you'll see us when this is all over. But Hagrid could you hold on a sec"
She quickly ran into another room writing a letter "give that too Slughorn" she smiled "because I won't see him for a while"
