chapter 1

" DAAMN MUM! it's so hot here, look at me i look like a complete mess now! Look at the people here, they need a fashion adviser for sure!"

"Stop complaining Alice. This is our new home now"

"But mum!! for all the places on earth, you just had to choose Boston?!" 

Alice said while taking a large gulp of water and throwing some splashes on her face.

''there's Mr. Garret my new driver slash security , lets hop in the car and he will take us to our new home, yaay Alice"

Alice kept a still expression on her face

"common Alice at least show some 'fake' excitement'

''okay mum, i'll try''

"that is like my good girl"

the car stopped in front of a large mansion

''so how do you like it? "

"wow mum, its.....huge! i love it" 

Alice jumped out of the car and rushed inside to tour her new house. it wasn't her first time in such a large house, she was used to it as her mother was a workaholic and her mother worked as a managing director in Americas most popular magazine. Her previous house was just about the same size but again she had to show that 'fake' excitement and her mum just played along.

after a brief tour of her house, her mother ordered classical 'Boston dinner and after which her  mum came into Alice's room and sat besides her and said

'' Alice, i know i haven't been the best mum lately but i just want you to know that moving from California was a hard decision for me as well but i had to make it for the betterment of my daughter. After your father died, each and every sight of California drags me back to the good days, we had so many memories. It kept on tearing me apart..''

Both stayed silent for a while.

Alice stood for a moment and then jumped towards her mother and hugged her as tight as she could after which her mother gave her a lecture about how good her new college was and she wants Alice to behave well. After a mother-daughter conversation they both went to bed knowing that tomorrow was going to be a hard day for both.

**TRINNGGG** the school bell rang and Alice was absolutely clueless about pretty much everything, just when a fat lady with dark black hair and glasses which gave her a devilish look took Alice to her office and told her to wait for the staff member who was responsible for the new comer accommodation. 

while waiting, a girl approached and hugged Alice from behind. Since this happened all of a sudden, Alice pushed her away and gave out a little scream. when she looked at the girls face she was struck by surprise to see Jenna her old age Best friend who had moved in with her grandma after the death of her parents. she had completely forgotten about her, but meeting her after a long time sure made her nostalgic. Both of them started chatting about the old times just when they heard a shout from inside the principal's office.

"both of you, stop laughing and listen to me! one more mistake and both of you will be suspended"

They both knew each other well and the next thing Alice predicted was Jenna peeking to take a glimpse of the boys who were being scolded and that's exactly what happened. Both shared a laugh at that point, but as soon as the two really hot boys stepped out Jenna began to act cool while Alice payed no heed to them.  after they left Jenna said,
