''wake up angel''

''ugh'' alice said while squeezing her eyes

''wake up i've got the day scheduled and you are going to love it''

''just a little more please''

''nooo!'' jay took the blanket and started to tickle alice

''HAHA.STOP.HAHAH.IT...kay i'm up hahhahaha''

Alice opened her eye's and was at first blinded by the sun, but just as she adjusted her eyes, she saw the whole roof of the room was doctorated with balloons. The floor too was filled with balloons. right in front of her, was a tray with a red velvet cupcake and a candle on top of it, positioned perfectly next to the cherry. Along side to compliment the cake was a bottle of french wine.

Alice jumped and looked at her cell phone.

''It's 10th september. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!''

''haha yes Angel, Happy birthday. you've been sick, in the hospital and totally forgot about your special day. lucky you have me, haha''

''you sweet thing thankyou so much.''

''no need to thank me angel, come on blow the candle, oh and make a wish''

Alice closed her eye's and made a wish and then looked deeply into jay's charming eye's. she leaned up to him and kissed him gently.

''ahh now get up, we have a long drive ahead.''

''huh?''

''please! no mor e questions. just get dressed''

''haha, alright prince charming''

Alice got dressed pretty as always. She wore a black long top made from fine net lace. her hair were tied into a messy bun with a few strands flying freely and she wore black pumps with a bow on them. Absolutely gorgeous. she made her way to the stair case leading down to the lounge, there she heard jay who was talking on the phone

''no,no,no. I cannot come with her today, i know i was supposed but i cannot ruin her day..''

he was interrupted by alice

''who's on the phone? where we supposed to go?''

''umm no one.''

jay tried to change the topic

''oh wow look at you. stunning''

jay said while holding his tie in his hand

''haha, jay i just realized that i have never before seen you all suited up. Don't tell me you don't know how to tie a tie''

''umm,''

''hahah give it to me''

Alice dragged the stool closer and stood on it and directed jay to come close to her so that she my tie his tie.

''Damn angel, you're gorgeous''

''stop, let me concentrate, i'm blushing already.there all set''

once the tie was in position, Alice was about to step off the stool just when jay picked her up.

''hahah let me down.''

''Spread your wing's, angels can fly.''

''haha, jeez i love you''

they were interrupted by the horn outside. jay gave alice her arm in that good old gentlemen pose and led her outside where a black limousine was standing

''OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH. AHHHH. are we going in that? yaaayy''

''haha, either we ride in style, or we don't ride at all''

jay opened the door for alice and sat down beside her.

''oh jay, this is the best day of my life''

''i'm glad. and yet there's more to come''

he winked at her.

jay and alice sat for about an hour after which the limousine stopped.Alice was unable to see outside because of the tinted black windows but soon jay opened the door for alice and there they were, standing in front of 'Al-moriz' one of the most expensive dine-in's in town.

''we are not..''

''yes we are''

jay grabbed her hand and took her to the main door where it was written

' 10th September-whole restaurant reserved for soon to be Mr and Mrs jay.

''I can just stare at this sign forever''

a waiter led their way to the rooftop dinning area. where there were only two waiters who seated them. Alice was wondering when they will arrive to take the orders, because that's what normally happens in restaurants but here something else happened. They asked them to sit on a sofa placed in front of the table and a huge white cloth stood vertically. jay was seated next to alice and soon enough it was dark and a movie began, it was no other than 'the vow' one of Alice's favorites.

''aww jay. this is just perfect''

''i just want you to know that i love you''

''of course jay''

the movie was great. Alice cuddled next to jay watching one of the most popular romantic hit's.

after that they moved to the table and had food. they ordered the most expensive item on the menu, well jay did. Alice felt bad about it but jay insisted.

after a job well done with the movie and food, jay went over to the waiters

''just a moment angel''

the two waiter's went away leaving jay and Alice the only ones on the roof. it felt strange, but then all of a sudden a spot light fell on that spot where jay was standing. A romantic song played which was just the sweetest song one could play in a moment like this.

jay turned around and he had that sparkle in his eyes. he slowly approached to alice who was sitting on the table. while walking towards her, he pulled out a fresh red rose from inside his suit coat. he bent down on his knee and handed over the rose which alice took with quite a delight. Then jay asked her hand for a dance. knowing they were the only ones on the roof, alice felt comfortable. he took her gently away from the table and in the middle. it was just a picture perfect moment for alice. she rested her head on his shoulder and wished for this moment to last.

''jay, thankyou so much. I can never..''

''shhh, just know that i love you more than anything''

''why are you saying that again and again? i know that''

''tomorrow is going to be tough '' he whispered and closed his eyes.
