Chapter 10

Alice opened here eye's.she glared around and found her self in the hospital.She forced her self to sit up leaning on the hard, uncomfortable hospital bed.her head still felt heavy. Alice saw the room decorated with balloons, all types of balloons, heart shaped one 's saying ' i love you' , the one's which said 'get well soon', the one's which said 'I am sorry'. for a moment she did not pay attention to those, there were flowers, chocolates and much more. she smiled and thanked jay within her heart. the door opened and the nurse came to check up on Alice.

''Ahh,Alice look who's up after day's''

what?day's? alice thought to herself but the thought was interrupted by the nurse

''You've got visitors, they will be coming in.are you okay with that?''

she thought of jay

''oh yes, perfectly fine.''

but to Alice's surprise jenna and jake came in. Alice's wide smile faded. she kept on looking at the door untill jenna said

''Alice, how are you feeling now? what happened last night?''

''well TBH i don't know, all i remember is that JAY! where is jay? is he alright? what happened last night? how did i come here?''

''Woa! chillax girl, you need some rest.''

jake said while trying to change the subject

''where's jay?''

''Oh Alice do you know that the celebrity john Clarkson is visiting our town''

''jenna! where is jay?''

jenna looked at jake who was already looking at jenna with a worried look.

jenna whispered to jake , tell her.

''TELL ME WHAT?''

alice's tone got heavier. she adjusted her self

''OW!''

Alice screamed while holding her head.

''Alice please rest''

jake said while holding a sad expression on his face

''jake, jenna WHERE IS JAY? you know what, give me my phone''

''that's of no use, jake tell her''

jake did not say anything

''JAKE! TELL ME ALREADY''

''okay well,jay is not here''

''what do you mean? please tell me'' alice felt a tear form and within no time it rolled down from what used to be her rosy cheeks.

''hey okay listen, jay is umm, I don't know how to put this. jay is leaving for Georgia'' he said the last sentence in an absurdly fast way.

''WHAT? WHERE?''

''I am sorry Alice i cannot say more, I've already broken his promise, but jay left this for you''

he went to the back of the room and took out a basket from behind one of the flower bouquet. it was large and wrapped perfectly. He handed it over to Alice.She quickly unwrapped it and saw all sorts of goodies which she loved. she saw a teddy bear and on his ear was a little note. she quickly unfolded it and read it within her heart

''Dear angel, how are you feeling now? I am extremely sorry for what happened i only wanted to give you a picture perfect night, but what happened yesterday was the reason why I was hesitating from day one. Now do you under stand why I was trying to keep a distance from you? why i kept on saying that you might be in danger? now look at you because of me my angel is hurt and for that i could never forgive myself. do you know something, last night i looked at you when I took you to see my favorite spot, you looked surprised and i felt that i could walk by your side without blinking and then you looked at me, i looked fine right? that was because you couldn't read my mind. Alice I will not come back and that does not mean i do not love you. i did and i always will but this is for your own betterment. please do not ask more from jake, he is already done a lot. i love you please move on angel, i was only a chapter in your life. i love you please do not cry angel.''

Alice suddenly started to cry. she cried a lot jake and jenna were standing close to her. All of a sudden she grabbed jake's collar

''WHEN IS HIS FLIGHT? JAKE TELL ME OR ELSE..''

before she could complete her sentence jenna said

''jake,tell her.please''

''it's within 20 minutes''

''TAKE ME''

''no Alice,you cannot you are not medically fit''

''HELL WITH MY HEALTH''

they called the nurse who did not allow Alice to go but as soon as she went away alice took hold of her drip stand and rushed out of the hospital. there the Guards stopped her and her nurse arrived

''PLEASE nurse let me go please. it's very important. please''

tears rolled down.

''be back before the drip ends''
