My eyes fluttered open to see Louis hovering above me.

"Good morning, babe" His face inched closer to mine.

"Good morning, Louis" I whispered into his ear.

"Sleep well?" He smirked.

"Great thanks" I stroked his hair out of his face and played with it ever so slightly.

"Good, then you'll be ready for this" He pushed his lips onto my and we fought for dominance. After a long battle I finally gave in and he won. Our kiss was deep and passionate, but was abruptly ended with Harry barging through the door.

"Harry?! Seriously??" I looked at him annoyed that he ruined such a perfect moment.

"It's- It's Niall" He stuttered. I shot out of bed and began putting some clothes on.

"He woke up and, uhh" He babbled.

"Just spit it out Harry" I frowned. What could possibly of happened now.

"He woke up and he keeps asking for you. You need to come quick, please" He rushed. It didn't make much sense, but nonetheless I kissed Louis a goodbye and jumped into Harrys car.

Harry didn't dare to speak - probably knowing that I'm too worried to be starting a conversation. As soon as Harry hit the breaks and took his keys out of the ignition, I rushed into the hospital ignoring the angry nurses yelling "NO RUNNING IN THE CORRIDORS". Go do one mate, this is an emergency.

I saw the plain wooden door at the end of the hall in no time and I calmly sort myself out before walking into his room. The cuts that had once looked fierce seemed to have calmed down but there was still patchy blue/purple marks plastered all over his face, neck and body.

"Oh Niall" I whimpered as a few tears rolled down my cheeks. I brought my hands to my mouth and gasped at his next words.

"Hey you're Maddie, I remember you" He smiled and looked at me intently.

"Y-You remember me?" My voice was barely audible as I took baby baby steps towards him.

"Yes. You're my sister, right?" His words were slightly slurred, but it's understandable considering that amount of medicine he's been taking recently. I gushed. How does he remember me..?

"That's right" I nodded and paused "Do you know who you are?" I asked.

"Me?" He pointed to himself and giggled as he realised what he was wearing.

"Yes, you. Do you remember anything about yourself?" I asked but he wasn't able to answer me as his doctor came in beaming.

"Ah, this is great. I'm glad we are all here so we can talk about what a remarkable recovery Niall's made" The doctor said. Niall giggled and responded with "That's me, I'm Niall".

"Go on" I smiled at how childish Niall was acting. I knew he couldn't help it.

"I honestly thought the hit he had on his brain was going to affect him majorly but it seems Niall has come around knowing pretty much everything about him" He smiled. But that doesn't match up to what happened yesterday.

"I'm thrilled to hear he's okay, but that doesn't explain why he didn't remember me yesterday" I frowned and looked down to the floor.

"Ahh, his brain was still swollen and under a lot of pressure, he was also given drugs that most likely messed with his memory so he had every right not to remember a thing" he tapped his clipboard alike what he was doing the previous night.

"So what I'm hearing is that he's only coming out with some broken parts, cuts and some bruises?" My heart swelled, he didn't deserve any of these things.
