~Luke's POV~
I've never known anyone to be as big of a douche as Ashton. Just as he gets Maddie back in his life, he goes and blows it by bringing her back. He just doesn't think sometimes. No one on this goddamn bus. He's côcked things up big time for himself. I knew it was a bad idea when he told us he was inviting her a few months back.
The boys turned up a couple of hours ago and Niall told us about Max and Ellie coming down to stay for a while. Obviously Ashton wasn't there he was too busy going places with his new toy Jasmine to give a damn. I hate the influence she has on him, it's inhumane. I really hope mad dies friends will keep her mind off him though, I hate seeing her sad.
But in the present time I was stuck with Ashton and that bitch talking about "old times". Not gonna lie I'm bored shitless. I really need to get out.
I put my shoes on and slipped on a coat and then left without saying goodbye because, honestly, I don't think they'll even noticed I'm gone. Deciding I was going to catch up with the others, I knocked on the door whilst playing with my lip ring. Louis answered and invited me in.
"Lukeyyy" Niall, Harry and Zayn said in unison. Maddie looked up from where she was playing a game with what must be her two friends. She had a huge smile plastered on her face and honestly I think she's the happiest I've ever seen her. It makes me happy that she's happy, as cheesy as it sounds. She gave a small wave and carried on with her game.
"So what bring you here?" Louis asked sitting on the kitchen counter as there were no other seats. I leant against the other counter.
"Ashton and that girl he's brought back. I really don't like her, I don't know what he sees in her" I replied crossing my arms.
"Yeah, I couldn't stand seeing Maddie upset. I'm glad her friends are here now" Louis said. I nodded.
"I agree. Ashton just doesn't realise how selfish and self-centred he can be at times" Louis nodded in agreement "I know what you mean, I just hope that he doesn't bring maddie back into this. She doesn't deserve it, never has and never will".
"I know, but she has us if she's ever feeling down" I smiled. That's definitely one thing I can promise and stand by it.
"Yeaa, you ready for tonight?" he said stretching.
"Yepp, It's gonna be a big one" I grinned.
"Yeah, that's if Ashton has it in him to leave jasmine alone for 5 minutes" Louis spat. Jesus. He could create a hate club with that sort of attitude.
"We can all hope" I sighed. And suddenly heard maddie yell "Lukey pukey!". I'm guessing she's finished her game.
"Maddiee!" I yelled back looking in her direction. She was running towards me with her arms held out. I engulfed her in a bear hug and I was hit with a huge scent of strawberries. It must be her hair.
"What you doing here Luke?" She asked.
"It's nice to see you too" I joked.
"Love you lukeyy" she laughed letting go of me. I mentally pouted, what?
"Yeah yeah, well I'm here because Ashton's boring" I said. She shuddered. Too soon?
"Sorry Maddie" I apologised and she shook her head "It's okay Luke, I understand" she said sweetly. You gotta love Maddie.
"Oh shit" someone yelled "We need to go get ready for the show" the voice said, who I now understood was Liam.
"Let's go" Louis said putting on his jacket.
I walked with Louis to the show arena and we talked about random stuff. The topic maddie slipped up a few times, but nothing to serious.
I'm missing Maddie already... :(
