"C-can I h-help y-you?" i stuttered staring at the very attractive male in front of me
"Sorry, I saw you sitting alone and couldn't help but think that you might be sad" he smiled.
"Why do boys have to be such dipshits?" I sighed.
"may I?" he asked motioning to the seat opposite me. I nodded and he sat down.
"firstly, not all of them are, just look at me" he winked "secondly, we may act tough on the outside but I can't say the same for the inside" he breathed " and finally, would you like another drink?" he finished.
"1) maybe it's just you, 2) you don't think I already know.., 3) and no thank you" I replied.
"I'm touched" he faked his emotions.
"ha ha" I said smiling.
"Can I get your name?" He asked.
"Maddie, and yours?" I replied.
"Ben" he held out his hand.
"Nice to meet you Ben" I shook his hand.
"Nice to meet you too Maddie" he laughed whilst I let go of his hand.
"Well I gotta go now but can I get your number?" He smiled and I noticed he had dimples. damn.
"Sure, gimme your phone a sec" I said holding out my hand. He gave me his phone and I typed in my number in and handed it back to him.
"Thanks" he said "See you soon Maddie" he said leaving.
"Bye" I quickly said before he left completely.
Wow. What just happened ? But more importantly, what happens next? help...
I took my phone out and noticed I had a few messages. The majority where from niall asking where I was but there was one that caught my eye.
From ashton:
Can't handle the truth so you decided to run away? Typical of you that is. See ya Maddison. x
urg. great. I have to put up with that from now on.
Just wonderful.
Isighed and put my phone away ignoring the message. What am I going to do now ... ?
I got up from my chair and walked out of the cafe, thanking the waitress on the way out. I walked along the deserted streets, getting further and further away from what I could class as home.
I'm so lost...
I lost my family, I lost my friends, I lost myself...
I began to cry and it started to rain. My phone then began to ring, it was Louis. I answered as floods of tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Maddie, where are you? You haven't been answering any of our calls or messages" He said anxiuosly. I sniffled but didnt answer, he sighed.
"Maddie are you crying? Please tell me where you are" He pleaded.
"I-I dont know where I am" I mumbled still walking further away.
"Maddie, please you must know" He said sadly.
My throat was dry and my body ached.
"Right, that's it maddie. Stay where you are, I'm coming to find you" He said.
"Okay" I croaked and then ended the call. I did as I was told and sat down on the ground as the rain mixed with my tears.
Life's not fair anymore..
I don't want to be here anymore..
I just want to go..
I was beginning to lose hope that Louis would ever find me but my heart started to pound when I saw a familiar figure walking towards me. I stood up and ran to him. When I finally reached him I hugged him tightly and nver wanted to let go. He hugged me back and for the first time in a while I felt warmth. Then I broke down again...
When I settled down a little I pulled away from the hug and Louis frowned when he saw what state I was in.
"Maddie, what have you done?" He said sadly.
"I wanted to get away from Ashton so I ran away. I cant put up wih this anymore Louis. I just want to go back home" I said.
"You really want to leave?" He asked looking hurt. I nodded.
"We better get you back and packed. I'm going to miss you maddie" He said hugging me again.
"I'm going to miss you too Louis" I said into his hoodie.
That way I can finally be alone .
I can finally go to a place where I belong, a place where I can be happy, a place no longer on the earth.
