When Lauren got home she climbed into her bed and cried more.

She heard her phone start to ring.

Lauren looked at her phone. She didn't know who was calling her, she didn't want to answer anyways.

She just needed time to get herself together.

She wanted to think.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Onika coming into her room.

"Hey lo, you okay?" Onika asked her. Lauren stared at Onika, then started to sob again

Flashback

Lauren was grabbing the groceries out of her car and bringing them inside along with Onika.

"Lo later on tonight I'm going to go out with some friends so you and Nip can have some alone time" Onika said as she smirked.

Lauren blushed. "Stop Oni" she said as she hit Onika's arm.

Lauren couldn't wait to see Ermias. She loved him so much.

Lauren happily sighed at the thought of him.

"Lo your phone is ringing. It's Ermiassss" Onika said smirking. "Give me the phone!" Lauren said as she took her phone.

Lauren quickly answered the phone.

"Hello?" Lauren said with a smile.

"Nu, it's rashad. Nip just got shot eleven times" She heard over the phone. Her smile dropped faster than her heart.

"What.." Lauren said in a shaky breath.

"They pronounced him dead just now Lo. I'm sorry.." Rashad said.

Lauren dropped her phone on the floor. She dropped to the floor and screamed as she sobbed.

Onika ran to Lauren's side. "Lauren what happened?!" Onika asked.

"Ermias!" Lauren screamed. Then everything was a blur.

Flashback over

"I want him back! I don't want nobody else but him! Please God let this just be a long dream. I
need him I really do" Lauren cried into her pillow.

Lauren's phone rang again. It was the same number from earlier.

"What?! What could you possibly want from me!? If you see I didn't answer the first time why would you call a second? Are you dumb or something?!" Lauren yelled into her phone.

Onika tilted her head and scrunched up her face.

"I-I'm sorry Lauren I just wanted to see if y-you were okay" Beyonce said in a shaky voice.

Lauren's face immediately softened. "Bey I'm sorry I didn't know I promise" Lauren said.

She heard Beyoncé sniffle over the phone. "It's okay I guess" Beyoncé said.

"Hold on Beyoncé" Lauren said then hung up the phone. She grabbed her keys and walked out of the house.

"Lauren where you going?" Onika asked.

"To Pizza Hut and then the hospital" Lauren said starting her car.

"FOOD?! I'm going too" Onika said getting into the car fast.

"It's for Beyoncé not your fat ass"

"You love this fat ass though" Onika said.

Lauren stayed silent knowing she was right.
