These past few months have been utter bliss. Tobias and I have been talking about finding a place together. A place to build our home together, once more. We've been looking at places out in the country. It'll be nice to get out of town, it's too busy and noisy. We also just want a place where we can be undisturbed and left in our own peaceful little world. I'm getting ready for my day when I hear my text notification. I grab my phone, unlock it and open my messages.
"Good morning love. Hope you slept well. Did you have any plans for today?"
'Ah, Tobias, my love. You always did know how to make my day better.' I think and begin my reply.
"And good morning to you My Good Sir♥. I did, thank you. As for plans, nothing really besides household chores. Why? Did you have something planned?"
"Well, yes, actually. I have found a house that we can go look at today. If you would like to join me?"
"Oh, really?!? YES! I'd love to!" I think about what kind of place it will be.
"Great. I'll be there around three to pick you up."
"Awesome! Can't wait. See you later. I love you♥."
"Until then, little minx. I love you too♥."
I work my way through my house, cleaning as I go. Bedroom, done. Bathroom, done. Kitchen, done. Hallways and stairs, done. I begin to tidy up my living room when there's a knock on my door. I walk over and open it.
"Hello Tobias. Is it three already?" I ask as I turn to look at the clock on my wall.
"Yes. It is. Hello, my dear." he chuckles and kisses my forehead.
"Sorry, come in. I've been cleaning and the time kind of got away from me. Let me go clean myself up and change and then we can go, okay?" I say and give him a quick peck.
"Okay, but hurry, we don't want to be late." he smiles.
"Yes sir." I tease as I run to my room to clean up and change. I step into my bathroom and wash my face. I brush my hair and strip my clothes. I grab my clean clothes and get dressed. I head back to the living room, grab my shoes and sit on the couch to pull them on.
"Hope I didn't take too long." I say jokingly to Tobias, letting out a small giggle.
"You did not, but another minute..." he trailed off, pointing to his watch, returning the joking tone, smiling. Deciding to tease him a little bit more, in my sweetest voice I say,
"I'm sorry sir. I hope I haven't made us late. If I have, I will take a spanking as punishment later." Watching his eyes as I say this, I can see the sparks dancing their way across the depths of those hazel orbs.
"Mmm. And you will if we are," he pauses,
"And maybe even if we're not." teasing back. I melt and smile.
"Yes sir." Tobias kisses my cheek.
"Okay love. We really do need to go. Come on." grabbing my hand and leading me out of the house to the car. We get in and head off to this house that Tobias has found. It is a little bit of a drive, but we don't really mind that. After a bit, we arrive at a long driveway. He turns onto it and as we're pulling up to the house, I'm in awe. It is absolutely gorgeous. It's a single story cottage style home, wrap around porch, beautiful bay windows on one side, and plenty of land for a garden. It was perfect already and we hadn't even been inside yet. We get out of the car and walk up to the arched door. We knock and wait for the realtor to answer. She opens the door and greets us.
"Hello Mr. Smith," extending her hand to shake his and he obliges.
"I'm glad you could make it. Is this your wife?" she asks, turning to me to shake my hand as well.
"Not yet, Mrs. Jones, but she will be." Tobias answered her.
"My name is Makenna. It's nice to meet you Mrs. Jones." I introduce myself, blushing at Tobias' words.
"And you." she smiles,
"Shall we go in?"
"Yes, please. Thank you." Tobias answers.
We all enter, and Mrs. Jones begins giving us a tour of the house. The entryway was cozy and warm and opened up right into the living room. It was spacious and had a very nice stone fireplace, perfect for a cooking pot. The kitchen itself was homely. It had a cute little island in the center and was very well lit. The two bedrooms were also spacious and had floor to ceiling arched windows. The house had a little loft that would be perfect for my small scale library.
'This place is absolutely perfect.' I think to myself. Tobias has been watching me throughout the tour, seeing my eyes light up at each new room.
"So, that concludes the tour. What are we thinking?" Mrs. Jones asks, addressing us both.
"May we speak alone for a moment?" he inquires.
"Of course." Mrs. Jones says as she leaves us in the master bedroom.
"Well, what do you think?" Tobias turns to me, smiling. I return his smile,
"Oh, Tobias. It's perfect. It reminds me so much of the home you built for us in our second lifetime together, do you remember?" I say eagerly. Tobias grabs my hands and holds them.
"Yes, my love, I remember. That's why I picked it. I was hoping you'd like it." he said.
"Like it? Tobias, darling, I love it! I can't wait to spend this life with you here, in this home. Our home." I returned, wrapping my arms around his neck. He pulls me closer to him and weaves his arms around my waist.
"Our home," he repeats,
"Hmm, I like the sound of that." and he kisses me. We leave the room the find Mrs. Jones.
"Ah, wonderful. Did we talk things through and reach a decision?" she asked. Tobias answers,
"Yes, we did. And we have decide that it's perfect and we would like to start the next steps to purchasing."
"Fantastic." Mrs. Jones exclaims.
"Let's get that started for you right away." she finishes.
