" Y/n?" Medea spoke, as you were laying on your bed in silence; just staring at the ceiling. "You haven't said a word since this morning. Are you worried about Kei?"

You only nodded. She pursed her lips in a thin line, climbed to your bed and lied next to you to comfort you.

They had taken your brother for a test of some sort. The problem with that is that the boy who the three of you used to share that "room" with, never came back after the same test. Apparently, he overused his quirk and that ended in self-destruction. Literally.

"He'll be fine. You know him.He would never leave us alone," She said, burying you to her warmth. "Especially you."

She just couldn't bear seeing you like that. She was worried, as well, but she knows your brother wouldn't give up on you whatever the situation.

She understood how you felt. She, too, has lost her family and no way in hell did she want you to experience the same trauma she did. You were so pure and so small, her heart couldn't stand it if you lost your brother, the only thing you had remaining in your life to just leave like that.

"He promised." You finally spoke.

"Hm?"

"He promised he wouldn't." You raised your hand, with your pinky finger up.

Medea knows him too well, though. He never goes back on his word, especially to you. He loves you way too much to abandon you. The thought of him promising you that made her smile."Right."

"But if Kei doesn't come back-"

"He will." Medea said, sure of herself. "He will make it and once he's done he will come back to you to give you a big hug and cover you with his wings for you to feel safe."

"Will you stay next to me, Medea?"

"I thought I already made that promise to you, Y/n."

"Wake up." Medea glanced sideways to the tall, black-haired man who was standing at the door of the bar they were in. "Were you daydreaming again?"

Medea rarely talks to any of the League's members, let alone bond with them. Dabi was the exception, though.

"I'm not in the mood, Dabi," She says, sighing. "What do you want?"

"Hm," he scoffed, forming a smirk on his lips. "Like you ever are. Were you recalling those beautiful days back in the-"

"I said-"

"Try giving me orders one more time, you little rat," He interrupted her, leaning close to her unfazed expression. "You know I don't like it."

She's not particularly close to anyone in general, and Dabi is not the type to...you know; feel, but he can be a tad more protective when it comes to her. They've known each other since they were little kids and they have a lot in common too.

Both of them hate their families—mainly their dad—and they were forced into a secret government program, founded by the Hero Public Safety Commission, which was a living hell for them. They were being trained to become special heroes and the training was not at all pleasant.

"Were you crying?"

"The fuck? No, my body is foreing to that emotion," She says, sipping on her drink. "But for someone who doesn't like taking orders. you sure seemed to take orders well enough from Aya-"

"Shut it or I'm burning you alive." Dabi said, his body now facing her, while leaning as close as he can, trying to intimidate her.

"Burn me alive? Please, you wouldn't dare touch me."
