"Y/n!" You heard Izuku behind you, as you were walking towards the waiting room to talk to Uraraka.
"Hey. Where are you going? Aren't you going to take notes on others?" You said jokingly.
"I'm looking for Uraraka," he said with concerned eyes. "I don't think she is okay."
"She's up against Katsuki," You said, raising your eyebrows and crossing your arms. "Of course she isn't."
Izuku then made a face of confusion, as if what you just said didn't make any sense. "Come to think of it, since do you call Kacchan by his first name?"
"I, uh," Your eyes went wide and avoided eye contact. Your cheeks were starting to heat up. "It's, uh...Since, um, like the beginning of the school year? Maybe?"
"Why are you blushing?"
"I'm not! It's just- just, uh, hot in here! Yeah, so we were going to talk to Uraraka, remember?" You said trying to change the subject.
"Yeah, let's go."
During the walk towards the waiting room, you were thinking about Izuku and the fact he doesn't know how close you and Katsuki have gotten or that you might have feelings about him.
You felt bad that you aren't hanging out as much lately. Actually, it looked like you didn't want to be around him anymore which is not true, of course. He did reassure you that everything is fine, but, come on, when was the last time you sat down with him and had an actual conversation beside school?
Exactly. It's been a while, hasn't it?
You let a small sigh out, closing your eyes and decided to talk to him and apologize after you talk to Uraraka.
You arrived at the waiting room and knocked before she gave you permission to enter.
"You good? Oh, hey Iida, that was a good opponent you had there." You joked to the tall boy standing next to Uraraka sitting on the chair.
"Please, do not remind me of that."
You giggle. "Sorry. Uraraka?"
"Hm?"
"I asked if you're okay?"
"Oh, yeah, um, I'm fine. Just waiting."
She was patiently—and anxiously—waiting for her match to start.
"Well, I don't think even Bakugo would use a full-strength explosion on a girl..." Iida said to try calming her down a bit.
"He would." Both you and Izuku said in synch.
"That's kind of cruel..." He commented.
"Yeah? Tell that to my wings." You said smiling.
"Everyone's trying to become number one to make their dreams come true," Izuku said. "Even if it's not Kacchan, no one would think of holding back."
That is true. Katsuki always does the best he can whatever the situation. It could be training, it could be a real fight, it could be a non serious fight, he will do whatever he can to win. In this case, though, he has no intention of going easy on her just because she is a girl or not a serious battle. Well, it is kinda serious. Whatever, Uraraka is his enemy right now and he'll do anything to beat her.
You hope she will be okay, because even you aren't completely sure if she is going to leave that arena without fainting. But maybe you're just exaggerating. Hopefully...
"You've helped me so much, Uraraka," Izuku took out his notebook and showed it to her. "That's why I thought maybe I could help you a little. A plan to use your quirk against Kacchan...It's rough, but I came up with something."
