"Now let's get started right away!" Midnight announced.

You don't know what got into you at that moment, but you were so sure of yourself when those words came out of your mouth towards Katsuki.

You just wanted to tell him that he didn't have to put himself in that position. With that statement of his, he not only gave the other classes another reason to despise your class, but he also put himself under pressure. Of course, this isn't the first time he's done something like this, but he needs to learn that he won't always win. He will not always be at the top. Putting unrealistic expectations on himself in order to reach his goal, is not the right method for him to advance. It will break him sooner or later.

That's what you had to tell him. Only that. You know it's a competition, but why the fuck did you chose to be his enemy?

"Now here is the fateful first game!" Midnight says, while the wheel spins. "This year it's an obstacle race!" When Midnight announces the game, you swore you saw a spark of fear in his eyes, which never left yours, before looking away. He got worried because, for you, an obstacle race is a piece of cake because you can fly. It made you a little happy, if you're being honest. "All 11 classes will participate in this race. The course will be the outer circumference of this stadium—about four kilometers! Our school's selling point is freedom! As long as you stay in the course, it doesn't matter what you do! Now take your places everyone!"

You're not stupid. It's not going to be just a simple obstacle race, of course. It's the U.A. 's sports festival we're talking about here; they must have something huge planned.

You wait at the exit till the tree green lights on top of it go off. Once they do, "Start!" you jump in the air and fly right through it.

You hear a weird noise behind you and when you look back from your shoulder, you see the exit full of ice and the students struggling to get out of it. "Todoroki." Right behind him is the rest of the class—including Mineta—who managed to escape his ice. "Hm. You got some nice- CRAP!" Something hit your whole body and made you twirl on the ground. "Damn it...What the hell was tha-" Fuck. "So, these are the obstacles. This is not gonna be easy, after all," A smirk appears on your face, as you look back at the other students. "At least for them."

Todoroki walks in front of you, his right hand already frozen, ready for an attack. How did he get to you so fast? "If they went through all this trouble, I wish they would've prepared something better." he says and with a swing of his hand, he covers the robot's whole body and walks right between its legs.

"As if I'd let you get ahead, icy-hot," You finally decide to wake up and fly as high as you can into the sky, in order to pass above them. "Ugh, great, I'm talking like Katsuki, again."

"The first one through the first barrier is Todoroki Shoto from class 1-A!"

You caught up to him. "Hey there, nice move," he didn't even give you a glance; he just kept running. You smirked. "But are you fast?" you whisper and, in less than a second, you take the lead.

"Nagata, also from class 1-A, is the second to pass through but first in the race! But hey now, the first barrier's a piece of cake? What about the second?" Present Mic was not wrong about that. Again, for the others, as I came across the next obstacle and stopped short. A giant chasm opens before me with sporadic pillars shooting up and thin ropes connecting them. How in the fuck does this school have enough money to pay for all of these but not teachers? "If you fall, you're out! If you don't wanna fall, then crawl! It's "The Fall"!"

Too bad you can't fall. The others were about to catch up to you, so you took off once again and got to the other side with ease. Though, that is exactly what got you suspicious.
