"Finish her off," He orders, walking past me. "This time for real and don't try anything funny."
That is easy for you to say, you maniac. Not that I'm one to talk.
I knew Hina had something stupid in her mind but I just couldn't find out what the fuck that is. She is well aware she can't defeat this guy. Now she's on the ground, severely wounded, bleeding red.
I hate the sight of it.
I make sure my expression is leveled, that not a sign of my weakness is shown.
Of course I was the one given this task. Whatever or whoever wrote my story must truly hate me. To have the one person I have an ounce of feeling for dying at my hands. Maybe the last consolation of her departure would be that I'd be the last person she sees.
But fucking hell. If I couldn't fight selfishly for the one person I would burn the world for, then what the hell am I doing?
"I'm not doing it." I seethed.
"I'm sorry?" All for One stops on his tracks, tilting his head back.
Those two are here for Hina. Minori and Ayaka are hiding in the alleyway we were a minute ago and are probably waiting for an opening to take her. Her plan is still up in the air. But knowing her, it was surely something risky, something that would have her life dawdle on the balance.
She doesn't want me in her life anymore. I know that. I may not want her with me either. But hell would freeze over the day I take her life. And I won't let her die, not if I can help it.
I lift her up, holding her in my arms while I raise a wall of fire in front of me. He can have as many quirks as he wants, but nothing is tangible enough to go through the heat I have; at least in the first few attacks. When the flames reach its height, I rush to the edge, ignoring the lot's surprised expressions.
"Take her-"
"W-wait..." Hina's hands clench my coat. Damn it, she's panting; her eyes are unfocused. She'll pass out any second. "I have...I have to...Stop him."
For fuck's sake. I know I fell deeply because of her stubbornness but there is a limit to it. Especially when it's doused in stupidity.
"I did what you asked and you failed," I hand her to Minori and he starts healing her. "Get out of here. My fire isn't enough to hold him back."
"Thank you." Ayaka whispers. I've never seen a person looking at me so gratefully. "Come with us, Touya. You can still-"
"Don't call me that." I bit. Hina is the only one who has the privilege of saying my real name; no one else. "And no, I'm not coming with you. Leave."
All Might is fighting with All for One again, which is perfect. He's buying me time to convince her to leave. Whatever she's planning, I won't let her do it. It's enough that I'm never seeing her again, I'm not going to let her risk her life.
I glance at her; the faint light from Minori's hands healing her grabbed my attention. Her eyes are focused again and her panting along with her bleeding has stopped. She's okay.
"I can't leave, just yet." You idiot. "There is a way to stop All for One and I'm the only one who can do it."
I'm done with this shit. "What the fuck is your plan, anyway?"
Of course she doesn't answer me. Because more than me, she knows damn well she's risking her life but she's still willing to do it if it means her loved ones will be safe from him.
"Hina," Minori squeezes her shoulder. "What do you mean? What way?"
"Just trust me," I will never trust her stupid ideas. "Please. Though I can't avoid Search, I need to find a way to dodge his attacks. I only need to touch him, that's it!"
