When Katsuki was inside that darkness, his hand automatically reached for you.

He was attempting to draw you in close so you could cling together, but he lost physical contact with you at that time, and as the black mist dissipated, he and Kirishima were inside a building, but you were nowhere to be seen.

"What the- where are we?" Kirishima said, looking around, "Actually, better question. Where is Y/n? We were both holding her, weren't we?"

"We'll find her. But first," Katsuki said, as they were immediately encircled by villains who appeared to be waiting for them inside the building. "We have these guys to deal with."

Great. What a waste of time. He needed to get out of that place to search for you. Judging from the location and its distance, you're probably in a different zone than him. If you're even a little bit near them, then his explosions will lead you to them. That's if you're smart enough to do that, instead of running off yourself to find that chick.

Damn it. That's exactly what I'll do. He knows how desperately you need answers; that's why he needs to hurry with these villains.

He let a blast out, knocking the last two villains on the wall unconscious.

"Is this all of them?" he said while panting "They're so weak."

"All right." Kirishima said "Let's hurry up and go save the others! If we're here, then everyone else should be inside USJ, too. I'm worried about the guys with less offensive ability! Besides, because we ran off ahead, we slowed Mrs. Thirteen down. If Thirteen had been able to suck up that fog, then this wouldn't have happened! As men, we have to take responsibility for what we did!"

"If you want to go, then go by yourself." Katsuki said "I'm going to find that bird brain and kill that warp gate."

"Huh!? You're gonna act childish at a time like this!?" Kirishima grabbed Katsuki's arm and dragged him just a little towards him "Listen man, I know you're worried about your girlfriend but we have to-"

"Shut up, she's not my girlfriend! And I'm not worried about her!" Katsuki yelled right at his face "Listen here! That gate bastard is the enemy's way in and out. I'm gonna cut off their gateway route for when the time comes. It's not like we don't have a way to fight the fog."

"Stop your chit-chatting!" an unfamiliar voice was heard behind them "Since you left your guard down-!" Katsuki grabbed his head and blew it up.

"Anyway." he said "If these small fries are the ones assigned to us, pretty much everyone will be fine, right?

"Were you always so calm and rational?" Kirishima asked "I thought you were all 'Die! Die!' all the time."

"I'm always calm and rational, you spiky-haired punk!"

"Yup! That's more like it."

He threw the villain on the floor and walked away, towards the exit "Then go if you want to. I have other things to deal with." He jumped from the window and landed on the ground.

"Wait!" Kirishima shouted as he, too, jumped from the building "Believe in your friends! That's really manly, Bakugo! I'll follow you!"

Katsuki doesn't even consider you as a friend, let alone those extras in his class. But this wasn't about trust or anything. It's not that he would be happy if anyone got hurt, but his focus was on you.

"Tch. Do whatever you want." Katsuki said "Just don't get in my way."

"Yeah, yeah. Now let's-"

"WHAT!? WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU WANT!?" The boys heard your yelling. You didn't sound too far from them.
