The Aftermath

Taking away Anastasia as Zinnia and Isaac waited for Parker, arriving to check on them and unfortunately there were no news as to why Anastasia ended up like this.

"You mean you have no idea why she going to do this?"

"What was the reason? Why would she do this?"

"Unfortunately we don't really know for sure, once they check on her and sent her away, I'll question her but there's no way of knowing why. Although I guess it would be just the mayor is gone, the perfect time to leave and start a new life."

"But she couldn't because she needed the money and he hid everything from her to prevent her in doing so. She was still a victim and yet chose this."

"How awful."

"How did you know? It was going to end up like this?"

"I really didn't know but felt a strong crushing feeling, I felt something was going to happen. I just figured it was everything that happened, with Storm, Imogen and Tom I just wanted it to be them. But I felt I needed to see Issac, there's no way I'm losing this one that easy."

"Glad you did because I really didn't know what's going to happen. But it's over, we can finally live."

The three gave a few embrace, during the time in the hospital they had the chance to see Imogen, whom was doing well, however for her powers, was gone forever once again, and Imogen was heartbroken about it.

"My powers are gone and I really thought I was improving but I guess I was wrong."

"Your powers may be gone but remember you're here, Ginny. Alive and well, you did everything to push yourself to help us out and you did."

"Pushing as much as you can and hey, you did a lot. You're here with us in the end."

"So it's over. Right? We're not dying in two months?"

"It's over and we don't have to worry about that anymore."

"Oh good!"

"That's a good thing, it's been rough during this time and we can finally live."

Tom left the room with Issac behind him, on the phone with the others back in Westchester. After talking, Tom turned around to Issac, "Everyone is doing great back home and recovering."

"Recovering?"

"Dan got hurt and hurt his leg but other than that, everyone is fine and so is the town. Although for Lucas and Connor, they're still gone and it sucks. But I told them about Storm and how she's going to be okay. We don't have to be on the edge anymore. But it's still doesn't seem real, with those two gone and what happened back there, Noah can't be gone. He can't, can he?"

"I don't really know but what they said about not loving the sun, there could be there a piece of him out there. Even though Lucas and Connor are gone, we can always remember them. They're never going to be forgotten. It's been crazy months but we made it to this point."

"Yeah. It's still feel unreal but glad it's finally over and we can finally live. And breath."

"How are you doing? You should rest a bit more."

"No I'm fine. So what's the excuse to give to the doctors of what happened? What Parker is gonna say?"

"Animal attack is what he's going to say and it's basically true with those mutant freaks. You gonna see Storm?"

"Yeah I'm gonna see her. Devon is there by her side and doctors say she's going to be okay and can leave in a few days. Or rather weeks."

"She'll be fine and we'll be fine."
