"Those cult freaks might be out there, Zee. What can we do? There's nothing here to fight them off and I can't use my powers as they have limits. I don't know what would happen if I overused it."

"What did you know about him? The mayor. You could've known something that was a red flag. Anything that might've help."

"Other than I thought he was a great man who I was excited to marry but the moment we were married, things went south and he became a true monster. "Leaving was impossible when you don't have money and he controls the entire finance. Whenever I thought about leaving, he would know and would always tell me I was worthless and useless and who would ever want me. Unable to afford the divorce, plus this whole place and damn people know each other, a noisy person who immediately say something."

"I can understand being with someone who wants to control you and want you feel useless. Nobody believes you because they know them and they never know them to be that person. It sucks, but I got out and I'm glad I did because I want someone who doesn't treat women like that and is a good man."

"What about you? How's your marriage with your husband?"

"It's good, yeah we elope and some might think it wasn't a good idea and we should've thought about it but we did and we wanted to be together. Marrying him wasn't a mistake and he treats me very well and Issac is incredible. Thoughtful with everything, always up whenever I get nightmares and having trouble sleeping, willing to stay up with me, and I would do the same. I might not know what it's like to be a relationship that's toxic and unhealthy but I know everyone deserves to be in a healthy and happy relationship. You don't deserve the mayor and you've been helpful with the phone calls and going against the mayor. So if you know more him, now's the time to tell us. "I'm feeling better and I can handle a bit more. But Tom is not looking all that good."

"That's why Ana is staying here with him."

"What?"

"Please Ana. Stay with Tom until morning, those things won't attack until morning so for now you're okay. Please you helped us with those phone calls and now do this for us."
