Neverending Slashing

Fighting off a pack of terrifying vine monsters wasn't easy for Issac and Parker, with just the two of them became five with Storm, Devon and Dani arriving and help them deal with the monsters attacking them.
One of them unfortunately slashed Dani's left arm, blood flying everywhere, Devon swang his bar wired baseball bat to the vine creature and ran away along with the others.
Dani started screaming in pain, Issac ripped her other sleeve off and wrapped it around it, she grabbed his arm in pain, Storm took off her rope and hand it over to her.

"It's burning like hell! Ugh!!"

"Cover the cut before it gets infected! Devon you see any of those things around?"

"No but they can't hide from us forever. I don't like this, it got quiet all of a sudden."

"Agreed. Stay close! They're going to attack any second so be prepared! Dani stay strong and make sure you wrap that burn up."

"Yeah. Ugh!"

Storm looked up to get sight of Draven the crow, crying as he fly around, Storm immediately held up her ax, "Get ready! They're coming and now is not the time to die!"

"Damn you trained that crow to warn you? That's pretty awesome!"

"Impressive."

"Not impressive if we're going to be facing some of things freaks!" They heard noises and immediately was faced by a swarm of mutant looking birds, with green liquid pouring out, everyone started shouting, swinging to get the creatures away from them. Being pecked on, being everywhere, not only they were dealing with the mutant zombie birds but were facing the cultists, running towards them with daggers, Devon knocked out three of the cultists, Parker fired four of them, fighting them off, Storm knocked out a larger cultist, swinging her ax to his legs, causing him to scream in pain and in anger! Raising his dagger but was hit in the head by Isaac.

"Thanks Isaac!"

"Anytime Storm." They heard cries from the sky, coming from both the mutant zombie birds and the crow, Stormed cried out!

"Draven!"

Isaac stopped her and watched a flock of them spinning around, confused, everyone stayed close, Storm's crow flew down and Storm immediately grabbed it, "Oh you're okay!" They heard the cries and soon they started running, running from the mutant birds, Parker started firing them from the sky, handing another gun to Devon, "Know how to use it?"

"Does video games count because it freaking counts!" Starting firing five of them, Storm couldn't help but cheered, "Way to go, babe!"

The gang found a cabin and immediately hurried inside to it not being empty, with a woman and an unconscious Tom! Isaac and Dani ran towards him, "Tom!"

"Close the door! And you! Who are you!" Holding up his gun, Parker point it towards the woman, Anastasia raised her hands up, she quickly explained who she was and what happened in the couple hours, Tom cleared it as he was slowly gained consciousness, slowly sitting up with the help of Issac and Dani.
Tom explained as well with what happened and how Zinnia and Imogen went on ahead, "Damn it. We have to go and see them before things get bad. Where do you think they would be?"

"It's not going to be easy. Isaac how much do you and Zinnia explore the woods so far?"

"Not much as it was off limits at night. But it's big and there's a cliff where it's said some teens go and hang out. You think we can find them? It won't be easy."

"We have to try. Tom your still injured to be walking around, your not going to be walking around without blacking out and risk having those things get us. So you have to stay until morning, by morning probably now."
