Zinnia's POV
It's weird being back in Pine Springs, even though I was only living here after my parents died by the cult, living here with Arthur with Elliott. But coming back here after everything that happened with the cult and Richard, it's hard being around the water. It wasn't a problem at first but with the nightmares being back in the wooden coffin to my death, triggered alot. I understood why I never really visited again, my PTSD started up again but with the water. That damn lake, I woke up early to try to get over it but I can't. I really can't be on a boat, that whole experience was too much. Already I feel goosebumps about it. I sighed when I heard the door opened to Arthur with coffee.
He hand me a cup, "I sometimes talk to Josephine. Whenever I'm out here, you should visit more often, try and get over the fear of this damn lake.""It's difficult, it's not something I can get past, but I do want to visit more, to see you and Elliott. And the others."
"Let's get inside, time to make some breakfast. Wake that boy up, go and help me."
I went up to the room and tried to wake Isaac up, he groaned, covering himself, I rolled my eyes but felt mischievous, I unbuttoned my shirt, stood on top of the bed and kicked Isaac off the bed!
"Ugh! What the hell, Zee?!" He sat up, awake and pissed but that went away when he looked up without my shirt, winking. He immediately blushed, I smirked, I picked up my shirt, "Time to get up. Time for breakfast."
"What freaking wake-up call. I allow it." He stood up, put on his shirt, he pulled me to kiss me and chuckled.
"Sorry for doing that, I just had to."
"You were an ass but I allow it for that surprise. You have to make it up for me."
"Oh I will. Let's go, time for breakfast."
Preparing breakfast with Arthur was nice, however the memories of surviving a ghost holding a grudge was hard but they slowly got through it, Isaac had to go into town to grab some things for the jeep, and items for them when they leave to go home, when they go home. I texted Tom and hope we get to meet up, he responded back excited and can't wait to hang out. I guess Parker didn't tell him about it. Guess he's waiting for us to break the news to them. It's not going to be an easy conversation to have with them.
Isaac went ahead and left to the store so I went to find Tom, which was pretty easy but I didn't want to get near the water. He sprinted over to me, gave me a huge hug!
"You finally made it! When did you arrived?"
"Just last night. It was pretty late when we arrived here. Still looks the same, I heard about Arthur. And yourself."
"Yeah. I cut myself but I'm alright. Where's Isaac?"
"He went into town to grab some things. He'll be back soon, I heard from Parker that you told them."
"Oh. Yeah, sorry. It slipped and I made sure they wouldn't tell Arthur about it. Imogen was pretty understandable, she's on her way. But for Parker and Danni, especially Danni. She's pissed. Not that happy about you not telling her about it. Angry mostly towards Isaac."
"Yeah I figured. As you can see, we're hiding our rings from Arthur."
"Yeah. He would be pissed, and would kill Isaac."
"Oh yeah." We hugged again which felt really nice, than I heard a squeal, I turned to see Imogen exciting running towards us.
"Zinnia!" I forgot how strong she was! Imogen can hug!
"Oh I'm so happy you finally here! It's been way too long!"
"Glad to see you too again, Ginny." She cheered again and hugged me for the second time!
