Zinnia's POV

While waiting in the waiting room, I received a strange message from someone, than receiving a phone call, I don't know who was calling so I answered it to a deep voice, "Be alone to talk."

I went to the restroom and glad no one was here, "Who's this and why alone?"

"Does not matter, now listen up, we don't have time. You need to be prepare, now you need to head back to the mayor's home and get a key."

"What key and why do I need to go back? Why should I trust you? Who is this?"

"You can't trust anyone, just myself, now find a way to get into the mayor's home because the mayor has a key to a certain chase to revealed who he is. Even the things he's done over the years."

"What do you mean? And why should I trust you if you know something about the mayor? Not only that, prove it. Prove to me I can trust you."

"You just have to trust me."

"No I don't. Prove it to me, leave something for me to trust you, I'm risking alot."

"Knew this would be the issue so when you get outside of the hospital, I left an envelope under your car, it has everything you need to know about the home of the mayor. Even the map of the whole town, the blueprints to everything. Listen, I know why your doing this but please don't risk your lives. The mayor is a dangerous man and will do anything to keep things in order. Keep things from getting out, his secrets. Secrets he will do anything to keep it hidden. Are you still there?"

"I'm still here, what secrets?"

"You'll know when you know. Now go. Be careful."

Hanging up, I sighed with this strange phone call but something in me wants to know more, I left the hospital to get some 'food'. Arriving to my car, I noticed something on the wheel, I 'accidentally' dropped the keys, reaching down to see the note, I hurried inside the car, turned on some music, opened the letter to the blueprints of the house, I gasped with a key inside.

"What the hell? So many laws I'm going to break. Okay, I guess it's time to do this. But I can't do it alone."
I sent a text to Imogen and Danni, hoping they think of something to get in.
I waited in the car for a while when they entered with some coffee, Imogen with a phone, "Alright, here's what I think we should do. Since you lived here, I think you should go in for a job. You graduated from college and is looking for a more stable job. Working for the mayor sounds perfect. It can give you more access."

"What do you think about Zinnia? Want a job with the mayor or break in? Which sounds kinda illegal but at least we get into the place."

"This is harder than I thought, however if I go in there asking for a job, it would sound more reasonable, but the problem is that the mayor won't be seeing anyone now since the party is over. We have to wait until morning but I can't wait that long."

"Well there is one thing we should do. Which isn't illegal, but we could say we left something there. It works and we can do it. Zinnia, it'll work."

"What if it doesn't, it won't work and we're stuck explaining to the cops as to why we're snooping around."

"Either way, the cops will be involved, let's do it. Use Imogen's tactic and the job thing, come on. We can do this and I can be the one to snoop around. While you two do your thing."

"Alright. Let's do that."

"Good because I just sent your application. Let's go see the mayor."

Arriving to the mayor's home, vans were cleaning from the party, I took a deep breath, I pulled out my phone, still no messages from Isaac or anyone, I shaked my head and hope he's doing okay.
We spotted the mayor writing a check to the men, I almost didn't want to go but Imogen softly pushed me, he noticed us.
