After my shower and I changed clothes I grabbed me some food and made my way back to the hospital. I pulled up and finished off my food then I made my way inside of the hospital I looked at my phone seeing what floor the got Neveah on. I walked over to the elevator and pressed the up button the elevator doors opened and I stepped on I pressed the 3 and the doors closed I leaned up against the elevator wall and closed my eyes. The doors opened and I stepped off going towards the waiting room I walked over to where Asia told me where they were.

"How's Veah," I asked.

"Still no update."

I sighed and sat down.

"The only update is that sick bastard is in jail."

I nodded a few minutes went by and a doctor walked out with grim look on his face we all stood up.

"Family of Neveah Williams."

"That's us," mama Serenity spoke.

"I'm Dr. Parker I operated on Neveah we lost her a few times while I was operating but we saved her and now she's resting. We had to pump her stomach as well as stitch up her arm."

"Okay that's good."

"Also I think Neveah is going to need therapy."

"Yes sir we're well aware I'll be contacting her therapist."

He nodded told us what room she was in and we all walked down to her room. I let her family go in first and then I walked in behind them. I stayed back as they took turns with talking with Neveah she made eye contact with me.

"Hey Jai."

"Wassup Veah."

She cleared her throat.

"Thank y'all for showing up for me and being here for me like always but can I talk to Jaiden alone."

They all nodded and walked out I grabbed the chair next to Neveah and sat down.

"Where do I start?"

"From the beginning."

"So when I was 5 years old I was coloring with noise canceling headphones that my mom always gave me never understood why but I guess because her and my dad would argue almost everyday. Then one day my mom came in she removed the headphones and told me that she had to go away and I wanted to go with her but she told me that I couldn't, she then proceeded and told me that she loved me and that she'll come back for me and fight for me. Next thing I know she placed the headphones on my head gave a me a kiss on my forehead and that was the last time I seen her. Later that night he came into my room and I was woken up by my covers being off of my body and he told me that if I said anything he'll kill me then he proceeded to touch me on my private areas. After awhile I realized that what he was doing wasn't right but I had no one. The molestation went on until I turned 16 that night he threatened to kill me and then he raped me that went on for 6 months before I finally found the burner phone Kelly gave me and I told her everything. She told me to pack what I could and she gave me a location to meet her and she called the police. I packed what I could and left before he could come back home and I lived with my aunt and uncle plus Kelly until I graduated high school and we went off to college at CAU where we met Asia then we all became best friends."

"I'm sorry that you went through that Veah."

"Yeah me too."

"You gotta start back seeing your therapist again because you almost committed suicide."

"Okay."

"Did you get a chance to look through your gifts?"

"I didn't but why do you always get me a lot of gifts every year for my birthday."
