I don't know what made Neveah change her mind about me but I'm glad that she did I can finally show her how to be loved. We're back in my office with our food and we're eating in silence but that is about to end.

"How was your therapy session?"

"It was good."

"That's good."

"I talked about you in my session."

"You did?"

"Yeah everyone keeps saying that you're smitten by me and that I should give you a chance the next time I saw you and you ask me out but me showing up at your job unannounced was all me."

"Well I'm glad that you did."

"Me too."

"I just want to apologize from earlier when we was in the elevator I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable with my actions."

"I was but I had to remind myself that you're not him."

I nodded.

"Also don't try and change how the way you eat for me I'm fine with your size hell I love your size but if you want to change do it for you not for me."

"Why you never dated a woman my size or color?"

"I don't have anything against beautiful curvy dark skinned women I love them and I have dated them but it didn't last long because I would think about you and I'll end things with them so they won't be hurt by me."

"Oh I never knew that."

"Asia does because we talk about everything."

"Be honest with me."

"Wassup."

"Did you sleep with Moesha when she was here earlier because she was in a trench coat and I know she was naked underneath it?"

"Hell no she tried to get me to cave in but I wasn't with it at all I'm over her and don't want her anymore, I do not love her anymore."

"Y'all have history together."

"And what does that supposed to mean? I'm done giving her chances, done trying to save something that doesn't need to be saving or that I no longer want. I don't know when it happened but I fell out of love with Moesha and after coming to terms with who I want and how I was going to go about with making her mine finally I sat Moesha down and told her that I no longer love her. I let her keep the apartment and I got myself a condo not too far from Asia that was almost 9 months ago."

Neveah didn't say anything here's my chance to ask her again and hopefully she won't hurt my feelings like last time.

"Veah."

She looked up at me.

"Will you go out with me?"

My heart started to pound out of my chest.

"Yes."

Damn.

"You did say yes right?"

She laughed.

"Yes I did."

"Okay so tomorrow night at 8:30," I asked.

"I'll be ready."

"Alright."

We finished up eating then I walked Neveah down and out of the office building and over to her car.

"I'll text you with the details about the date."

"Okay."

I kissed her forehead and she rolled up her window and drove off. Once I get off work I gotta hit up my barber and get me a line up and I gotta plan this date because it gotta be perfect.
