Neveah
I told Tasha that anytime she needed me and a place to stay to either call or come by the house and I'm glad that she did. Not putting everyone in her business I immediately took her upstairs to my guest room. I gave her some towels and rags I had stepped out of the room to allow Tasha to clean herself up and shower. Once she was finished she knocked on the door twice then I walked back into the room closing the door behind me.
"What happened T?"
"Jared and I had gotten into an arugment because I caught him cheating while he was in the shower his phone kept going off. I went through his phone saw the messages with pictures and videos I sent all of the evidence to my phone because I knew he was either going to lie about it or delete everything and act like he hasn't been doing anything. Once he got out of the shower and had on clothes I confronted him and of course he lied about it so I showed him all of the proof that I had. Then he snapped and we started fighting I wasn't just going to let him hit me and not hit him back. That was until he kicked me in my stomach and overpowered me. After he left I packed up all of my clothes and drove here, but before I even left I checked my car because something didn't feel right and I'm glad that I did because he put a tracker on my car and I took it off. I then made sure to check my car again making sure that I didn't miss any and I came straight here."
"You need to call the cops T his ass need to be in jail."
"It's late and I'm tired can I call in the morning," she spoke.
"Yeah get you some rest see you in the morning if you need anything let me know."
"I will thank you Veah."
"You're welcome."
We hugged then she walked back into the guest room closing the door behind her and I made my way downstairs back to the living room. Everyone looked up at me with concern in their eyes.
"Who was that Veah," my mama asked.
"That was my assistant Tasha I told her that if she ever need me and a place to stay shes's more than welcome here she's gojng through something."
"Is she okay," Jaiden asked.
"No she's not but she's getting some much needed rest."
"We'll get the rest of her bags out of her car in the morning."
"Okay well me and your mom have something to tell you Veah."
"What is it?"
I looked at both of my parents waiting on an answer.
"We're engaged," my mama spoke as she put her engagement ring back on her finger.
"Yay congratulations," I spoke as I hugged my mama.
My brother and sisters hugged our parents too.
"So this is why you two had to talk to us this late," Cheynne spoke.
"Yes."
Cheynne nodded I looked at her and I can tell that she's bothered by something.
"Hey Chey can I talk to you."
"Yeah."
We walked into the kitchen I went in the refrigerator and got me a bottle of water.
"What's wrong sis?"
Cheyenne sighed then she told me what was bothering her and I gave her a hug.
"I'm sure he'll come around sis."
Chyenne shrugged her shoulders and I can see hurt all in her face.
"No he's not Veah he's been posting pictures of different women he don't want me sis and that's okay I'll never date a ball player again."
Cheynne walked out of the kitchen and I followed behind her.
The next day

I woke up to my phone ringing I answered my phone after talking for a few minutes with Keith I hung up the phone. I looked over to Neveah spot and saw that it was empty I stood up and walked into the bathroom to do my hygeine and take a shower. Once I came out of the bathroom I walked out found my clothes and got dressed. I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen I saw Tasha and Neveah talking while cooking breakfast.
"Good morning ladies."
They both turned and looked at me.
"Good morning babe."
"Good morning Jaiden thanks for letting me stay here."
"No problem. Babe is Sha still sleep?"
"Yeah."
After everyone left last night Sha was the only one that stayed back but he ended up going out and getting drunk he called my phone for me to come and pick him up I had to Uber to the club since he drove and I just drove him back to the house.
"Speaking of Sha he came into my room last night don't worry nothing happened we talked then I went to sleep I thought that he left but when I woke up this morning he was sleep next to me with his arm around me."
"What did yall talk about?"
"Everything he told me what he was going through as far as relationship wise and since he saw the bruises I told him about my situation."
I nodded when Neveah came to bed last night she told me what happened to Tasha after she had gotten the okay from Tasha to tell me.
"Did you call the police?"
"I did we went to the police station I gave them my statement, pressed charges and they went ahead and arrest Jared I also got a restraining order on him as well just in case he get a bond and have someone to bail him out. I got a new phone and phone number too I blocked him on social media accounts and I removed his family off of my accounts. I'm finally free from that asshole and I can start my life over."
"You can stay here as long as you want T there's no rush for you to find a place and you won't be a burden either."
"Okay all I need is 2-3 months and I'll be moving into my own space."
"If you and Sha haven't made it official yet."
"He's not checking for me like that."
"Mhmm good morning family," Sha spoke as he walked in.
"Good morning big bro."
"Good morning Sha," I spoke.
Sha walked over to Tasha as Neveah made her way over to me we smirked as we watched their engagement with each other it won't be long before they start dating.
"Why yall looking at us like that," Sha asked.
"Yall real cozy just for being friends."
"I'm not even going to lie and say that I'm not feeling Tasha I don't care if I was drunk I felt something as we was talking and that feeling hasn't went away but there is no rush I know she's fresh out of a relationship and need some time to heal and when she's ready I'm going to show her what it feel like to be in relationship with a real man and how she is supposed to be treated.
Tasha cleared her throat.
"Come on Veah let's finish cooking breakfast."
"You got T thinking Sha."
"Oh I know that I do."
"Babe we leave I wanted to let you know that he died."
Neveah looked at me for confirmation and I nodded we agreed to never say that sick fuck name. I watched as relief washed over Neveah then me and Sha walked out of the kitchen going to the living room I have a surprise for Neveah later today.
