Has anyone notice that, on the suggested book, you would never and I repeat never, find a book under at least 1k view? I find it a little depressing since they should promote new authors.

Also why authors with little follower are ignored like their book?
I recently filled a complaint to the HQ, result?
They told me to fill every kind of form to make my stories uplight.

I participate in the wattys this year, for the first time. Conclusion? Deluded.
I looked at the short list where 32 on 248 stories selected were under 800 views, only 3 fanfiction selected.
I didn't manage to see the winner list yet, but I bet that all the stories have at least 1k views.

If this site is designed to promote new authors, then why only the already affirmed one are promoted?
Also the ranking is an issue. Why are not highlighted the most important achievements?

I know I'm rattling too much, but I also know that this post like all the others will be ignored.
I don't care. I need a way to vent my frustration. It's not like the big authors had to go to knock at every door to ask people to read their work, it was the editorial who promote them.

Conclusion Wattpad should help a little more not make you fill up forms that would be ignored.

Sorry I didn't mean to insult or belittle anyone. I'm just unmotivated to go on, I'm really wandering if I should stop or not.
