Out of All Transmigrations Why a Weasel

"replacement had be fully installed/completed."

"You found him yesterday you say... hmm? Strange, could I possibly take a look at your weasel?" What he asked confused everyone.

Why would he want to look at him? He was a doctor after all, not a veterinarian or zoo keeper. He should have no interest in him. Maybe a little concerned but not interested. The feeling that something was off with this guy was steadily increasing.

This situation was worse than having a face-down with small chickens. If this Gu man was true as he thought, there was a bigger problem at hand.

"Umm, he's my weasel and he doesn't like strangers and I don't think that he would like that. Sorry." Long Ling didn't sound sorry at all. More of a mother dog protecting a stray cat that he had picked up from the side of the road. Making a sour face at the Gu man for asking such an absurd question...

The Gu man rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. Obviously, put him in a bad position.

Seeming to gain some confidence the Gu man spoke firmly but properly. "I don't mean to be pushy but I happen to know a lot about weasels and yours happens to look unwell. If you would let me, I could give it a look and help it."

Tai Yang's wary radar was going up faster and faster by the moment. This man was just too suspicious and seemed to be out of place. Even as it seemed that he was the only one that noticed.

"Obviously with you, permission off-course " with a stern look from his sister, Long Ling actually reached up to grab him. He was actually going to give him to the suspicious man. Refusing to be handed to this Gu man, Tai Yang swatted at Long Ling's hands. Waking one of his hands on the knuckles. Which was more of a pat since he, after all, was a weasel and in fact can not whack. Or at least hard enough for it to be considered one.

This seemed to shock the boy for some reason. That the weasel could possibly reject him. That he would fight back for what he wanted. As if the weasel could possibly want something different from him.

"I'm sorry Yisheng Gu but I really don't think he would like that. He even swatted my hand away." Long Ling still didn't sound sorry, he sounded even less sad than before. Even adding a little smirk after he finished speaking.

Long Ling seemed to be about to say something else when his sister grabbed him by the shoulder. Sending a silent message to him.

After a moment a flash of realization flew across his face. Realized this man was the only hope for their mother to get better. If he was disrespectful to this man he might be unwilling to help their mother.

After realizing this, Long Ling's smirk disappeared in an instant. Realizing who was keeping his mother alive and who he was being very disrespectful to. Realizing this was indeed true and he had just made a huge mistake, Long Ling sent a pleading look in the direction of Tai Yang.

Feeling the weight of the situation, Tai Yang reluctantly got into Long Ling's hand when he saw Long Ling's pleading look. Though pleading it was adorable too. By now Tai Yang was convinced that everything the boy did was adorable.

Walking into the back room the man was also very careful, keeping his hands as level as possible and trying to take small steps to keep the bouncing to a minimum. Treating him as a glass jar or an object worth millions.
Being set down for what felt like the millionth time, Tai Yang shivered, coming into contact with a cold surface. He was on a white marble table.

Compared to the shop out front, this room was dull. Not having a single spec of red, orange, gold, or even yellow. From floor to ceiling, the room was white gray, and black. Not a single other color in sight could be seen. Even the wood was a shade of white. This was except for the liquids contained in glass bottles.

Like out front but in mass quantity. Out front, only half of the glass bottles were back here. Both filled and empty. Every filled glass bottle contained multi-colored liquids. Not normal liquids.
Tai Yang was still observing the differences between the front of the store and where he was now when the Gu man called out to someone. No one responded the first time and the man called out several more times.

He kept calling out till there was a small chirp coming from the direction of the back wall. Suddenly a small dark brown, furry creature came from a small hole that he hadn't seen. The furry creature was long and slender like a weasel!?

"Cai Huang? One day I will yell at you because something important is happening but you will never know because you never respond." The weasel only responded to this by shaking its head dramatically before going behind a changing wall.

After a moment of nothing happening there seemed to be a sudden change in the air before a tall young man came walking out from behind it. Like the weasel, he had dark brown hair and light brown eyes. He was also wearing the same clothes as the Gu man. White robes with green leaf patterns on all the rims.

"I came, didn't I? Be happy with what you have. Now, what was so important you called?"

"Yes you did, didn't you," The Gu man let out an exasperated sigh. "and yes this time it is indeed important. I found another! He showed up with a small boy a few minutes ago." This seemed to shock the other man into silence. Opening his mouth and eyes in shock. He clearly did not know what to say to this.

Even so, this confused Tai Yang greatly. He had no clue what was going on or what they were talking about. If he was reading into things right they were talking about him showing up a couple of minutes ago. Also, it seemed that this other man could go from weasel to man easily so that should mean that he was not stuck as a weasel forever.

Now eager to find out how to turn back into a humanTai Yang started listening closely and carefully to what the two strange men were talking about.

"What do you mean?! My system hasn't mentioned anything about this! What do you mean you've found another?!"

"I mean I found another! I didn't know about it either until it suddenly popped up out of nowhere. This morning my system said that I had a mid-mission and needed to find the fourth vehicle, but I thought it meant a sword. A patient's daughter came in early with her brother claiming her mother needed the medicine early.
I happily said yes but then I saw her brother. He had a weasel around his neck." He said the last part pointing at Tai Yang.

"That's when my system dinged. Saying the mission was complete and a new replacement had been fully installed/completed."

I know this is short but I've been busy even on break XC but I also did get a decent amount done so yay and me happy just got the first book to 2ha XD so I will be reading that. Thx for reading again and I hope you have a good day.
