The room went quiet so fast it was like there was never sound in the fireplace to silence. Except for what seemed like silent but blaring conversation passed between the two strange men. Turning the atmosphere from seething with angry to being pure shell shocked.
Then back to angry again. The emotions were vary clear on there faces and by the easy they flung there arms around, it was clear they knew what exactly the other was saying and hating what they said. This silent conversation seemed to last forever- though only moments.
The tension between the two only broke when the Gu man suddenly jumped. Spinning to turn to Tai Yang. "There going to get suspicious or something if I don't return him! Think on that!"
Tai Yang was ruffly yanked up from the table he had been placed on and was rushed out, back to the main room. Where Long Ling and his sister stood, waiting. Both looking uncomfortable and impatient.
Long Ling's eyes flew up directly locking with his. They seemed to brighten and stared to shine in the matter of moments. He reached his arms out, motioning for Tai Yang to be handed over to him.
As motioned, Tai Yang was handed over to the greedy boy. Pulled into his arms as soon as he got a good grip, while the Gu man was smiling the whole time as if he didn't just panic with a shapeshifting weasel in the back room.
"Thank you Yisheng Gu-ge," the boy seemed to smile genuinely this time at the man, "I hope you found what you were looking for." Still smiling, Long Ling placed Tai Yang on his shoulder to rap around his neck before grabbing his sister, leading them out side.
They took the same route back to the house. The whole time Tai Yang felt a oppression coming from the boy's sister. It was like the Gu man's but instead of being wary of him for a random reason; he was being oppressed by a strange feeling. It seemed to be coming from along Ling's sister too.
The closer the got to the house the more evident it was. Floating around in the air, seemingly to not affect Long Ling at all.
He was still bouncing alot he rode, tugging his sister along with him. Smiling back at her now and then. This was until they actually got to the house.
This gave some relief to his worries. If Long Ling would be fine he could force more on finding the Gu man and the other weasel again.
When they reached the house that Long Ling started to show signs that he noticed that his sister was emitting a opposing aura. Making the area around them feel suffocating and small. Like it was a box of hot wind shrinking in on them, quick, harsh and, heavy.
This gave Tai Yang second thoughts to if he had to worry about Long Ling. Maybe something bad was about to happen.
Long Ling went straight into his so called room when they reached the hose, not even giving a departing greeting or some kind of gesture to his sister. Knowing based on the past couple of hours that Tai Yang had been with this boy, leaving his sister without saying goodbye was off. One would assume from there first meeting that he was a unkind little spoiled brat but, that wasn't the Long Ling he had seen after he was forced to tag along with the boy.
Placed down on the unbalanced cow hid, Tai Yang looked up at the boy, feeling he was thinking into everything going on around him to deeply. Had he been? Fist thinking something was off with the Gu man- which he was right about- and now Long Ling's sister who didn't even question her brother when see finally noticed that he was there.
He shouldn't have the right to assume that there is something off about a person who had discreetly been kind to him. It definitely wasn't direct but it was there.
Looking at the boy walking speedily to his "so called room" he felt out of place. Long Ling clearly knew what was going to happen but, he didn't and it felt weird. Having someone who knew while you watched and tried to figure out what was going to happen but unable to change what what going to happen even if he wanted to. Being a small rodent after all.
Maybe if I am able to turn human again I can help them? Tai Yang thought. If I can go back to the strange Gu man again, maybe they can help me. He did turn from weasel to human right? That way I can actually do something for this boy and his family.
Now determined to find a way to help this little boy - which the boy thought he was already there to do - he looked up at the boy from where he had been placed on the unstable cow hid. Seeing if the boy would give off any signals to what he was so tensely waiting for.
After a moment of steady silence there was a loud bang from the main room. It sounded as if a chair was being slammed into a wall. Then there was several other bangs and shattering thumps.
Traveling from one room to the next with its clamor. From thumps to giant crashes of shelves falling over by brute force. This lasted no more then five minutes yet was shocking to Tai Yang. With the loud bangs coming from each room would shock anyone.
There was one loud large crash before all the nose came to a sudden stop. There was a small scuffle coming from the far side of the house all the way over to the one room that had not been touched.
The door to the room loudly creaked open, shocking him before he realized he was a weasel and that dose have its advantages.
Listening closer Tai Yang could here somebody loudly coughing. The loud coughing was silent before starting up again, much quieter. Seeming to be the sick mother along Lings sister was talking about.
This was when Tai Yang noticed how silent Long Long was being compared to the loud calmer in the rest of the house. Long Ling didn't even seem to be breathing. Though he clearly was, not a sound was made.
A little worried, Tai Yang reached out a paw and patted the boy on the knee. Grabbing his attention.
"Sorry for the loud noises," Long Ling whispered, "All the loud noises should be over now. We just got to wait until my sister fixes everything, and thinks I didn't realize that she went on a rampage again."
Long Ling said it all so casually that Tai Yang was shocked once again. That meant this had happened before to the poor boy. Happening often enuf that he was so calm and collected about it, not even fazed.
"It will only last a little longer probably, there's not much to make a mess of so there's not really anything to clean up either. So you won't be stuck in here for long."
Smiling Long Ling pated Tai Yangs head, reassuringly But this only made Tai Yang worry for the boy. It was just so wrong to Tai Yang that such a kind boy could be okay with what was going on.
This was not ok for a pure kid, bright as a angel to be going through mental hell. Physical pain was one thing but, the mental strain was another.
This would scare the brain brain mentally. At the age he is now, it would not show, having him show no signs of damage. But the future of the boy would not be the same. He should know after all, having been through similar situations as a child.
Shanking his head, Tai Yang climbed up on the boy's shoulder and started flopping all over his shoulder, climbing up and down the side of his head. Resting on the top of his head before getting down again by jumping into his lap before repeating, wanting to distract him.
"Hehe, your so silly, Taiyang." Seeing a smile grow on the boys face, Tai Yang let out a sigh of relief. Maybe he was overeating thing just a bit.
Feeling a bit silly indeed he rapped himself around the boy's neck. Feeling calmer somehow then he was before.
