Tai Yang had come to Gu Lang and Cai Huang of his own free will. He also came to them not wanting to be there too long. Feeling bad for Long Long who didn't know why he had left out of nowhere.
Though it seemed as if Gu Lang and Cai Huang were dragging their feet as slowly as they could, either noticing he was in a rush and not caring or just being slow in general. Seemingly to do everything in their power to drag their feet.
From a simple conversation to cleaning up the broken glass from earlier, everything seemed to be slow. As if they had no life to rush for. Not needing to be anywhere or needing to be doing anything.
This was the same with their flow of information. Saying snippets of useful information before going back to small talk.
Not that Tai Yang could tell them to stay on the topic like he wanted. He was still a weasel and had no say or voice in that matter. He was just there listening in on what he could.
As it turns out he did infact die, and he was in another world that was controled by a main system. Each Cai Huang and Gu Lang had one that would give them missions to commplet. The missions they had to commplet were all part of a thing called a plot. The plot was to keep the worlds story interesting. And by making Gu Lang and Cai Huang do theys missions it would keep the plot going and thriving.
There was also a point system for doing missions. The points were used as helpers and prises as it called them. One would be able to use theys points to ask questions and get health kits if they wanted to.
There was much more that one could get with system points but one would not like to use they since system points were hard to obtain, only getting a few long and hard missions a month. And everything was vary expensive.
Out of Gu Lang and Cai Huang, Cai Huang could spend more of his system points because he got more missions then Gu Lang and his missions were worth more. Getting more system points for one mission then Gu Lang could get by doing three missions.
This was because of roles. Roles isent when you pretend to be someone in the story but the life you now have. Taking the jobes and potition from the person you now are. Gu Lang was a simple doctor while Cai Huang was a wondering cultivator. Cai Huang was not a powerful or power swaying cultivator but his role still was more important then Gu langs.
This is what the two were explaining to him when Gu Lang suddenly interrupted Cai Huang and asked Tai Yang a question.
"Four, how did you die? Could you act out how you died or something? There's no shame in it, we all had to die to get here." Gu Lang seemed genuinely interested in how Tai Yang died. Though he was clearly trying to not seem too pushy or invasive about how the whole death thing.
Seeing how it was awkward enough for them to be seemingly talking a one-sided conversation with a weasel, Tai Yang acted out being choked to death. Showing that he was choked to death and not letting them know how he embarrassingly died by a pillow. Not that there was a way to show it was a pillow that suffocated him, not a person.
Falling on his back after a few seconds of pretending to choke himself out, Tai Yang acted dead. Finishing his only half-embarrassing tragic death since there was no pillow involved. Lessening the shame.
Cai Huang surprisingly spoke again after seeming so against it earlier, "You were choked to death. Not bad, didn't take the coward's way out by doing it yourself."
