Sitting out side the tea shop, Tai Yang almost bailed out on his agreement. Over and over Tai Yang got ready to leave where he sat in front of the tea shop. Having convinced himself that he was being stupid for thinking that he could fulfill what the female cultivator wanted out of him.

He just couldn't find a reasonable way it made sense. In fact he was sure there wasn't one to find. Even in the end when he chose to stay he couldn't find even a hint of one.

This lingered the whole time he waited and when he followed the female cultivator. She had come back with a second sword.

It turns out she had left to get a second sword for them to travel with. She showed him how cultivators could fly on swords to travel. She also explained how the faster, steadier, and higher you can fly on your swords the stronger your will power is. The swords just represents it.

The sword he was handed was a long silver sword with a black and teal handle. As it glinted in the light of the sun he was reluctant to step on the blade. He didn't want to dirty the magnificent, clean look of it.

After he was forced to step on the blade by the eggar cultivator by his side, Tai Yang was embarrassed when the blade dropped under his foot.

He had expected it but he was hoping for the best and did not want to opt out of it.

Even so it was embarrassing when the blade fell with his foot. He didn't understand how to do it so he blamed it on his lack of knowledge.

"Senior, can you explain to me more about how to do this? I do not understand it fully." Tai Yang asked.

"Senior Jin, don't call me senior! I do not deserve that title! My name is Li Mei. So you can call me that, and I would happily help you."

Jumping off to help him, Li Mei let her sword float mid air. Not seeing she was just showing off to him.

"Senior Jin, there actually is not much to it if you have the power. You just need to focus and it will obey if that is so much as you commanded." Li Mei said, reaching out to hold his blade.

Tai Yang knew that Li Mei was just being nice. She was embarrassed just as much as Tai Yang. Watching him fail to make his sword follow his commands.

Once again stepping on the blade Tai Yang felt it fall to the ground. Have been dropped by Li Mei.

They did this a few more times before Tai Yang relented. "Li Mei, I don't think this working. Is there another way we could travel to the sect without fly by sword?"

"We could go by foot or carriage but I do not think senior Jin would like that."

"Really? Is it that long of a journey by foot or carriage?" Tai Yang asked.

"Yes, Senior Jin." Li Mei responded. "I am afraid that it indeed that far. It is one off the reasons that the people in this town warship cultivators. Not many cultivators come near this area. There isn't a true reason for why but it is just something that is know all around."

Nodding slightly, Tai Yang pick the fine blade off the ground. Not wanting to try and fail again, but not wanting to give up if he truly did have a important role.

"It is also possible that this is one of the reasons why no one knew you were here. Not having expected you to be in a place that's so vacant of cultivators. Or not of the earth."

Swinging around the blade in hand aimlessly, Tai Yang considered other ways to travel. He new that there was no way he was going to be able to travel by sword.

"Could we just travel by horse back. What are you planing to do if I can get this thing to listen to me."

Playing with the sword, Tai Yang soon fumbled it. Not knowing how to deal with it in the slightest.
