As such his mind was made much different than the other ship girls when it comes to what is right and wrong which in a sense is the reason the Pearl Harbor invasion is happening in the story and why he said to leave no survivors as in his eyes because of Commander Jackson Smith the majority of his commanders in Eagle Union are the same leading him to defect to the Crimson Axis I hope this somewhat clears up some misunderstandings with you all.
