How do you know James; Elisa asked as she got off her horse and Henry got off his while they tied the reins to a podium outside a pub

Grew up with him round Dimsley and then we worked in the mines; Henry said

Im scared to be honest, what if he doesn't want me anymore; Elisa asked

I ain't got no advise when it comes to relationships but my Ma always said "you got to face your fears or they are gonna drown you" so I guess thats the best I got for you; Henry said as they walked into a pierre

Where are we; Elisa asked

Ravensport, Virginia. 2 hours from Dimsley and James he is a fisher here. Lives right on the dock; Henry said walking past people who came off a bit

Oh alright; Elisa said

They stopped at a home on the docks. It was red bricked and had smoke coming from the top, someone was home. The door was wooden and had a stone knocker with a pearl ending. Henry knocked on the door

James, open up. Its me Henry; Henry said

Elisa and Henry stood back as the door opened up. James eyes widened and he pushed Henry to the side then engulfed Elisa in a hug spinning her around

Where have you been? I heard what happened and I was scared you never made it out; James said kissing Elisa on the cheek

I'm with child. They kept me from you and tried to harm the children but I made it out. Henry rescued me after the storm; Elisa said

Small towns and things get spread fast. Thank you for bringing her home; James said shaking Henrys hand while James could not get his eyes off Elisa

I hate to break this up, but I have to get home before dark; Henry said

Yes, of course. My apologies; James said

Take good care of her and make sure to send me letters. I'll come round once the child is brought; Henry said walking down the pierre

Alright be careful; Elisa yelled back

Henry looked behind him and the both of them were already inside the house. He could tell James loved Elisa from how his expression was. Henry was grateful that he found Elisa, the other night he had gotten a letter from James stating that he was in love with a woman but things were complex. He said in his letter that this woman lived outside Dimley. When the flood happened, Henry searched high and low for the woman. James and him had been friends for a long time and he knew what it was to lose someone but there Elisa was and she was holding a gold chain with the initials J.C. Henry knew immediately that she was the lady. Dimsley, Ravensport and Trolley were all connected small towns in the few community of settleds below the mountain. Now two were gone and he figured he would head West since there was nothing left. It stung him a bit to leave his childhood home but he had to for his safety but what would he do with the woman and 2 children sitting at his cabin?. Henry then thought of asking them to go with him as crazy as it seemed and thats what he set off to do. The sun was setting and he whipped his horse to go faster.
