(7 months later)
Summer was now looking like a giant herd and stayed home most days due to having no clothing fit her other than Henry's and she wished not to have a reputation of being a faggot in town. The add on to their home was extravagant and Henry built a shed with his friends for the dogs as they had two now since Piggy mated with Lenny and it resulted in puppies. She was grateful as the house had now more of a homeliness to it than before but she was saddened as she knew her days were coming to end. Summer had not stopped coughing blood and often sat by the fire feeling cold as winter. She wanted to name the girls Kennedy and Veronica after Henrys mother and her sister. Suddenly Summer dazed out of her thoughts as she saw a pool of water below her feet
HENRY GET THE DOCTOR!; Summer screamed and he came running downstairs
Whats going on; Henry looked at her then saw the leaking and ran out the door faster than speed
Summer breathed in and out as the girls had taught her and she layed on Mason's bed not wanting to crawl 5 steps up to hers. She was scared more than ever and wanted her mother there with her and wanted her Amber but Summer felt them near even when they were deceased which made her feel a bit calmer as the cramping started. She braced herself onto the bedframe and started to push. By the time the doctor would come, it would be too late. These girls wanted out. Summer heard the door open and heard Julia come in to drop Mason off but she quickly rushed Mason upstairs then came down to help
It hurts; Summer said
Hold on its alright now; Julia said and ran over to go get cool water wiping the sweat off Summers face as she held onto the bedframe
Im scared; Summer breathed
Stay put; Julia said and ran outside to grab rope. She had once helped her mother gave birth because the doctor was not coming so this had not been a first. Julia came in and tied the rope to two ends of the room entrance and layed a blanket underneath
I need you to breathe and push for me; Julia said holding Summer
I don't want to do this. I can't do this; Summer groaned
Yes you can. I'm right here; Julia said
Im gonna die; Summer cried
This is gonna feel weird; Julia said and reached her hand under Summer. She felt a head
I dont want to die; Summer cried out again
Honey, push. Its coming; Julia told Summer
Summer pushed and pushed until she heard the loud crying of a baby. Julia grabbed a quilt off the chair then wrapped the baby up in it, setting her on the bed
