Thank you so much; Elizabeth said holding the cake
Mason was in his tuxedo and carefull held Summers dress like a blessed diamond. For a young child, Elizabeth thought, this one was smart. Elizabeth had a son named Randy and he was stillborn but she loved kids. Francis and Elizabeth tried to have one but to no avail and soon they gave up all hope but then a letter had arrived for them that had revealed that Amber had in fact lied and that Francis's daughter was alive. Elizabeth was jealous at first but then she settled. To make her feel better, Francis had gotten her a dog named Linny. It had spots all over just mixed with browns and blacks and Elizabeth loved it. Snapping out of her thoughts, she held Masons hand while crossing the roads and looked behind her to see Linny playing with Piggy over a stick. Mason laughed at the dogs. It was a short walk to the lake and Elizabeth placed the cake on the table along with many other foods; Biscuits, Potatoes, Sweet Tea, Cookies, Ham and for all of it she cooked but she had not minded since it kept her busy
Yall did all that in short time; Elizabeth said looking around her
There was red ribbon on the trees with a garden arch lined in rows of tulips and a path with white stones and the lake was in the background, blue as ever with the sun shining down. It was fantastic
Sweet moses!; Henry said wiping his forehead
Pa, what is that; Mason said
Henry stood there shocked as it was the first time he had been called that but then he looked at the wild stallions. There were 4 of them grazing in the woods. Could this get any more perfect? He though with a smile and picked up Mason so he had a better view
Before I forget; Francis said tugging on something heavy
Oh my gosh, honey when did you start that; Elizabeth said
When they came here; Francis said
That must have been where you were when I woke in bed alone; Elizabeth said
Sorry honey; Francis smiled at her knew she was laughing
It was a small maybe 19 lb carving of Henry, Summer and Mason. Henry went over and examined it, rubbing his fingers on the smooth surfaces. Summers dress was gorgeous in the carving and it was better than a painting, he thought
My god! This is extraordinary; Henry said
No need to repay me. I did this as a favor for bringing our family back; Francis said
Its time; Madison said
Yes my dear; Francis picked her up and nodded to Elizabeth to go get Summer
