It was near midnight when they reached the train tracks. The horses neighed at the loud sound of a train horn and it awoke Summer up
Morning; Henry said
Where are we; Summer asked looking at the mountains
Colorado. Passed a town called Flane; Henry said
We are almost there; Summer said and sneezed
Bless you; Henry said
Can we stop for a little. Have to use the ladies; Summer said
Sure, sugar; Henry said and the horses halted
Summer ran off and went behind a tree then went back to the wagon to grab the kids. She left them to go on their own for a while she got them food. Scarlette left them with bread, stew and water. Enough to fill them. Summer placed a quilt on the ground as everyone gathered around and feasted but before she feasted she got two bowls out of water for each horse
Henry your bleeding!; Summer shouted and quickly got to him
Its nothing; Henry lied
No more driving, Ill do it; Summer said and got the bandages out to clean the wound. Henry hissed at her as alcohol rubbed in. Madison and Mason went to go play in the wagon with their books after eating and Henry sat down to talk to summer
Why did you say you love me; Summer asked
When; Henry asked
Don't be a fool. I heard you at the ranch; Summer said and heard Henry sigh
Its been a long time since I loved someone. Haven't loved someone since my mother and father passed. Lucille, she never gave me time or day to love her so I gave up on it till you came along; Henry said pulling a shirt down
Why do you; Summer asked looking at the kids who were laughing and playing hopscotch
Truth is, the first day I saw you were something different and when I kissed you, I knew you were it. My destiny. Now I don't mean to talk your ear off as I am a man and shouldn't be discussing girly subjects; Henry said
Girly?; Summer said with a smirk
Yes; Henry said
Girly? Oh really, love is girly; Summer said
