"What does Drake have to do with this? I mean my stage fright?" I asked her.
"Drake came into your life before it was just you and your family but then your parents got divorced. Am I right?"
"Yes but I don't see what he has to do with my stage fright"
"You haven't quite accepted him for who he has become"
I was beginning to get annoyed
"I don't get it"
"Because of your feelings toward Drake and being away from your family is the reason why you're isolating yourself from others and the reason you got scared when you stood up in front of all those students. Drake even told me you forgot your lyrics"
"Enough about Drake!!!" I shot at her
"How do you feel about forgetting your lyrics?" she asked me
"You know what I just remembered them, I uhm have to go now" I said in anticipation and ran out of the room
You know what made no sense to me- at all? Coming here to see a therapist. It was dumb and it was stupid. It doesn't add up and to me the only reason why I couldn't perform was because the family that I had before, the closeness I had, I don't have that anymore and it hurts, it hurts every single bone in my body. I don't know when I will recover from all of this but if you ask me Kris should quit her job as a therapist and stick to being infront of the camera. No offense. I stormed out of the office as my eyes glanced across the room to where Drake was sitting with his arms crossed. He looked up.
"Let's go" I said to him heading towards the exit
Hurriedly he caught up to me asking me a bunch of questions
"How was it?"
"Did she help?"
"Is your stage fright gone?"
"Do you want to come back again?"
"Do I look like I want to come back?" I yelled at him rushing towards the car.
Doors were slammed
"I guess not" he answered holding the steering wheel firmly
"Exactly, this was a mistake. It's useless. Just take me home"
The car ride back to the house was silent. I had nothing to say to him. Who knows what will become of my stage fright. Will I get over it or will I still perform? There's only one way to find out
I have to get back on stage and face them............
