BEN'S POV
*The next day*

In the time I've been here, I don't think i've heard Luci speak as much.

I know she doesn't know them all that well.. Though, I know she's more social than she's letting on.

"Yes, I miss you a lot. But luckily i'm not bored.." I lean back on my hands. "There's this girl that looks similar to you that consumes my time.. I won't say anything further, I'm not sure how I feel about her just yet." I finish.

I was by Claudia's grave. Thought i'd pay her a little visit while i'm here.

"Yep, he's right there." I hear a faint voice. I turn towards the sound and Greyson is pointing towards where I am, while Luci searches for me.

She nods and then makes her way towards me.

"Are you okay?" I ask. when she gets into ear shot.

She hums and smiles at me.

"I haven't annoyed you enough today.. Just thought you could use my company." She says before shifting her gaze the gravestone.

"Unless.. I'm sorry, I can give you more time if you need it." She offers.

"No it's okay. You you can sit." I say, looking away from her and back to her gravestone.

Luci nods and sits silently.

"Is this her?" She asks picking up the framed picture leaning against the engraved stone.

I hun in response.

"She's super pretty.. I can see why you fell for her." Luci smiles at the picture.

"And we're both red heads. What a coincidence." She looks up, meeting my gaze.

I'm not sure what it is.. Her expression.. I can't put a finger on it.

Her cheeks tint red and she looks away.

There's a small moment of silence.

"I wish I could meet you." My eyes dart over to Luci who set the picture back against the stone.

"From the few stories I heard from Lilah you were quite funny. There's no doubt in my mind we could've gotten along." She smiles.

I stare. Dumbfounded at her.

Is she being serious?

Luci looks over to me again and smiles.

"Lunch is ready. That's why I originally came out here." She admitted.

She stood up and then held out her hand.

"Sorry to tear you away, but I'm sure she'd want you eat something since you haven't eaten all day." She adds.

I stare up at her.

The sun make her blue eyes brighter.

Her hair is down, free from any hair ties. The slight blow of the wind moving her strands gracefully.

"Longer you sit there, the colder the food gets." She snaps me out of m thoughts.
