BEN'S POV
*Later that night"I can't seem to fully grasp reality right now.
Aside from my blistering headache, i'm still slightly panicking from being on the brink of death.
Well that was sort of dramatic..
Though, if I didn't bring my arm up in time I would've died.
I feel.. I feel as if I saw Claudia before I woke up.. But, she was pushing me towards something.
I could make out what, but it was definitely new to me.
I just.. Want to forget yesterday even happened.
Truly, I'm not that badly injured.
I'm going to have a scar slightly above my eyebrow though.
It's not going to be little either.
It might go through my eyebrow as well.
Since I practically slowed the speed of the bullet with my arm, the bullet hit me and gave me a memorable gash.
I'm currently sitting in the backyard.. It's maybe around 12 at night.
Trying to collect my thoughts.. And trying to ease the pain of this headache with natural sounds.
To say the least: it's not working.
I hear the door slide open and by the footsteps alone I knew who it was without looking.
Luci.
"Deja vu, huh." She jokes as she sits slightly away from me.
There's at least 2 feet of space between us.
It would be easy for me to grab her from here.
"How are you feeling?" She asks softly, staring at the scene in front of us.
When I don't answer, she looks over to me.
"Tired?"
"More like exhausted." I mumble.
She moves to sit in front of me. Completely blocking my view so that i'm only looking at her.
"You should be in bed, resting anyway." She tells me.
We're both in the grass, and as of right now she's sitting cross-legged.
I'm leaning back on one arm, since my other I can't really put pressure on as of right now.
"I have a headache." I tell her.
"I know, you told me earlier." She leans forward slightly.
"Aside from the headache.. Do you feel okay?" She asked me another question. "Actually- before you answer that question let me tell you what I originally came out here to tell you."
I nod.
"I'm really sorry. Super sorry in fact. I know you told me to stop apologizing since i've been doing it all day.. But I know I hurt you. It was because you've been hurting me and keep hurting me and I just get so confused all the time-" She pauses when she realized she's speaking fast. "I didn't mean what I said. To be honest if you were to go to Italy and leave, I would have followed you. I enjoy your company, even if we're not saying much." She tells me.
