LUCI'S POV
*3 days later*
"I like the dark green one." I say pointing over to the dark green dress I tried on.
There's a knock at the door the next second.
"Come in." I call.
The door opens and in walks Caleb.
"Did you decide on a dress?" He asks me.
"Mhm. That dress over over there." I point to the one Lyric is picking up.
"I liked the way that one looked on you. It complements your hair perfectly." He compliments.
"Thank you." I smile.
Then I notice all the ladies in the room glaring at him.
"You'll be able to see her in a moment. But for right now, you need to get out." Lyric tells him.
"Oh- Sorry. My bad." He apologizes, turning slightly red.
He leaves the room and I get ready.
The dress I chose was a medium length dark green velvet dress. It has a cowl neckline, with a slit reaching up to my hip. It's form fitting and super cute!
I've been wanting to wear this dress for a while now.
My dad told me to wait till I turned 18. What a perfect time to wear the dress! This is an opportunity I won't be turning down.
The heels are the perfect add on.
They're black closed toed block heels, with a small platform under the front.
My jewelry is also black which makes the whole
look really pop.
I tell them not to put on too much makeup.. Really only eyeshadow, mascara, and lipgloss because my skin break out if I use any other products.
I leave the room and head downstairs after they finish curling my hair, meeting Mindy in the living room.
"You look great." She smiles.
"So do you." I smile back.
"We were all waiting on you. I'm sure we're okay to leave now." Mindy informs me.
We walk to the foyer together as soon as we enter all eyes are on us.
Though, the person I want to look at me only takes a glance before returning to their conversation.
"Ma fraise, tu es magnifique." Caleb walks over to me.
I smile in response.
"You don't look to bad yourself." I look up into his eyes.
His eyes are so beautiful.
Why can't I fall for his like I fell for Ben's?
"I'd like to take you somewhere." He snaps me out of my thoughts.
"Right now?" I ask, confused.
"No, no. When we come back." Caleb chuckles.
"Oh- Alright! Does my dad know?" I lower my voice.
"Nope." He grins.
"What are you two whispering about over here." Athena's voice interjects.
"Nothing that concerns you." Caleb turns around, his arm slipping around my waist.
Ben's standing there with her.
Damnit Caleb.
"It's time to get this show on the road! The sooner we're there, the sooner we can leave." She turns on her heels, Ben following suit.
