17 | Prove it

BEN'S POV

"Welcome back." Veronica greeted Luci and I at the door.

"Where's the other.. Lot." Lilah asked me.

"They're grabbing their things." I reply.

I was currently holding Luci and I's things.

"We have people who do that." Lilah pointed out.

"Yeah.. They know, it's just there is still some unresolved feelings." Luci told them.

"I see." Lilah replied. "I'll show my face later then." She says before walking off.

"Is she okay?.." Luci asked Veronica.

"No. She's pissed." Veronica nods. "I didn't think I was going to get used to her pregnancy hormones so fast." She says and next second there's a loud crashing sound down the hall.

Veronica is completely unfazed.

"On top of that, Elijah and her are fighting. Hasn't this been quite the year?" Veronica asks rhetorically. "I'll go calm her down, you guys go get comfortable or something." Veronica says before walking in that direction.

"I'll put your things in my room for now.. Until the sleeping situation is sorted." I told Luci.

"You just want an excuse to sleep in the same bed as me." She softly smiles.

Spade clears his throat loudly.

We both look towards him.

"Her stuff can stay in the room i'm in for now." Spade tells us.

I hand her stuff over.

"Sorry I wasn't here to greet you at the door, I was finishing something." Elijah walks over.

"Welcome. I hope your travel wasn't to exhausting." He shakes Spades hand.

"Don't worry about it." Spade replies.

"I'll have a few people show you to your rooms.. Luci was able to navigate the place quite easily. I'm sure you'll have no problem getting around either." Elijah tells him.

Spade nods.

"This is Mia, and Greyson. They'll be showing you around and to your rooms. Alec and Luci, Ben can show you to yours." Elijah finishes.

We all split off into groups and I lead the way.

Elijah didn't even look at me once.

"Luci I guess you're in the same room and Spade you can chose whichever." I tell them.

"Great. Could you drop your things in the room and show me around?" Spade asked me.

"Oh I can show you if you want." Luci offered.

"That works too." Spade shrugs.

We split again going into our different rooms.

I set my things down before heading into the bathroom.

A shower sounds great right now.

After being on a plane for so long my body is quite stiff.

I turn on the shower before grabbing the things I need. I drape the towel over the shower door before stepping in.

The hot water hits my skin and relaxes me almost immediately. 

I lean my head back and allow for the water to soak my hair.

I do a few washes of my hair and body before leaving the shower. Wrapping the towel around my waist.

I leave the bathroom going into the connected bathroom and change into jogging pants and a sweatshirt.
