BEN'S POV
*A week later*Athena has been pretty distant from Caleb and I.
I understand.. She wants to go back.
I do too, just not at the moment.
If I went back now, that would mean i'd have to face Luci.
I really don't want to do that.
I really don't want to even hear her name if anything.
I found myself comparing her to Claudia a lot more recently.
They're similar, but completely different.
Claudia would give her life to help others, and Luci would take one to save her own.
I don't hate her.
Trust me I don't..
But i'm 100 percent sure I don't want to be involved with her like that, anymore.
After I do get home, I don't want to be involved with any of this shit anymore.
I'm done with this mafia shit.
I know I don't exactly have a choice or say in the matter.
But I know exactly how to wipe my identity off everything. I could make it look as if I never even truly existed.
I might be hunted down for the rest of my life, but I really don't care.
I really have no purpose for living anymore.
"Cynthia called for us." Caleb came up to me, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Where's Athena?" I ask him.
"Training." He replied starting to walk.
I follow him and we reach the foyer.
A girl is on her knees with 5 assault rifles being pointed at her..
That girl is no other than, Luci.
The sigh I would let out of I could.
"What's she doing here?" Caleb spoke first.
"That's what i'd like to know." Cynthia speaks next, her arms crossed. Her expression is a mix of confusion and anger, though mostly confusion.
"I wanted to see you." Luci tell hers.
"Bullshit." Cynthia spits.
"I promise it's not!" She yells as the front of someone's hun meets the back of her head. lDad doesn't know i'm here. I came with nothing. Trust me." Luci told her.
"Check her." Cynthia orders.
"Woah wait-"
Three of the five men start checking her.
Touching her is places really only i've laid hands on.
I could tell she's uncomfortable yet.. Caleb and I couldn't do anything about it.
