"Okay, mutant silverfish, you've eaten people's laundry for the last time!" Red said determined.
The mutants are fighting evil silverfish that were eating the laundry around the neighborhood. Silverfish are actually bugs and not fish due to their appearance as nocturnal creatures. Red strikes the silverfish and it drops the basket of laundry it's holding and splits into two, which held the pair of underwear between them.
Red hits them both with his tonfas and they split again so that there are now four silverfish. Screeching, they pounce on the underwear and start chewing.
"Hey, Raph!" Donnie called, hovering above. "Every time you smash them, they just split in two!"
"I know. Isn't it cool?"
Donnie became desperate. "Think, Raph, think."
"Oh... I guess it does double the problem. Which means double the smashing!"
He lifted up his tonfa and started smashing silverfish left and right. Suddenly, there are dozens of them. Several of them leap on Red and knock him down, screeching.
"I got you, Raph," Mikey squeaked. "This situation calls for a dose of my psycho-acrobatics!"
He flung the weapon and wrapped it around the silverfish and he yanked them off of Red. The mutant jumps around in the air and smashes face first into the bottom of a fire escape. With a groan, he slides down and he and the silverfish land in a dumpster. The lid closes. The silverfish begin chittering and the dumpster hops from side to side. Mikey then comes flying out of the dumpster to hit the ground with silverfish clinging to him. They proceed to pound on him.
"Oh, boy." Donnie shook his head.
"I got you, Mikey!" The blue one slices one of the outlets off a fire hydrant. Water shoots out of it, hitting Mikey and knocking the silverfish off of him. They are now lying there in a wet puddle. Mikey crawls backwards towards Raph, panting and soaking wet. Blue jumps down in front of his two brothers.
"Looks like these fish are..." He begins to chuckle. "Wait for it, you're gonna love this ...all washed up."
"Boo!"
"Okay, okay, okay, how 'bout this. Those bugs are so wet ...." The young turtle didn't notice that the silverfish were getting back up.
"Uh, Leo?"
Too late. The silverfish pounce on him. The other silverfish attack Red and Mikey and all three are yelling and flailing about. Donnie shook his head.
"Ugh, this is getting old," he sighed. He transforms his bo into a chest mounted weapon that shoots tennis balls. The balls strike the silverfish, knocking them off of his brothers. The silverfish started chasing after the balls.
"Mission accomplished!" Mikey chirped.
From the other side of the alley, the tennis balls bounce around the area and the silverfish encounters Rin, who was with Manako and Tomoka. The girls were taking a night time walk until they encountered the yokai.
"Whoa! What are these things?" Manako exclaimed, stepping backwards.
"I don't know," Tomoka stated, staring at the bugs. "They kinda look like mutant silverfish. But they are not fish, they're bugs."
Despite seeing the girl's faces, the silverfish mutants were about to pound them, ready to strike the girls.
"Wait, I got it," Rin responded. She takes out a cat wand from her bag and begins waving the wand around. The silverfish stopped and adjusted their eyes at the wand, like they were put onto a spell. They all stared at the wand as the white sea turtle waved it to the right, then to the left. The small little bug mutants begin to leap and try to watch the feathery pieces and try to get the strings on the cat wand. Giggling to herself, Rin pulled a few yarn balls and toss them aroudn the corner. They chase after them, only to leave one more behind. It leaped into Manako's arms, much to her joy.
