Hypno Part Deux

The following morning, a news reporter is interviewing a teenage boy near the school while a person holding a camera is recording. "What are we doing in Butterton Middle School, Mr. Sheck?"

"Mr. Sheck? What am I? Twenty? Call me illusionist Mind Binder Sheck. I'm gonna make this middle school disappear, no probbles. It's gonna be way sick, because us kids don't need school. It's an illusion."

"Kids definitely need school."

"Sheckter piece now!" Like magic, Noah Sheck transforms the school into nothingness. The audience cheered in joy at his magic act.

A massive fist smashed his phone in anger, jealous of that illusionist making schools disappear. Hypno lifted up his head, knowing that magic is his own thing and he never liked it. "If those kids want magic, I'll show them a real disappearing act."

The prom is almost ready to begin at dusk. Out of the outskirts of the school, April is wearing her green jacket with a yellow dress, blue earrings and blue belt around her waist. Mayhem was sitting next to her along with Nymphia.

"You can do this," she told herself, taking a deep breath. "You fought monsters, went to Hidden cities, destroyed robots, you're-" She looked up at the banner and sighed, putting her hands into her pockets. "Who are you kidding? School dances are way more dangerous. Why am I here?"

Mayhem turns her around and he urges April to get on and stay brave with Nymphia nodding her head and squeaking. Twila also appeared, using her teleportation. Squeaking, the unicorn Yokai urged her to go on, sparkles surrounding her horn and nodding her head.

"You're right," she said. "I can do this for Taylor, the coolest girl in school. Time for you to jet. I can't be like Siegal the lizard boy. I gotta be cool."

She slowly began to approach the school. Twila floated by as she watched the kids entering the school. Normal people can't see Twila due to her appearance and they don't believe in yokai creatures. April looked around for her surroundings. A few people have gotten dressed nicely and have gotten prepared. There was a hippo float surrounded by pink and yellow balloons.

On the sign it reads "Homecoming Float" by Taylor Martin. As she walked to the prom, she heard a voice coming from the crowd.

"Hey, April! My favorite person."

Turning around, she saw a boy without any hair. He was wearing a purple shirt, gray pants and a light blue tie. He ran up to her as April let out a sigh.

"Dale." She turned her head to her friend. "Hey, are you doing this shindig? I usually wouldn't really go to one of these dances, but I actually got invaded by Taylor Martin to sit at the cool kid's table, so..."

"She invited me, too," Dale said, holding his cellphone to show the invitation. On the screen, it shows an invitation from Taylor.

"Oh, I thought she just invaded me, but I guess you got invited, too. That's cool."

As April and Dale head inside the gym they can see that the entire party was brilliant. The entire party was brilliant. Many teens are enjoying their part at the prom. There are magic show props, shining colors and food being placed out. There in the pink dress was a pretty woman with yellow hair. She was standing in front of a long table with the other teenagers playing on their phones.

"April, Dale. So glad you came," Tayor replied, pleased to see that her friends are here. She began to lead them to the table. "Sit. We were all just talking about the most amazing new game, Hippo Crush."

"So fun," the students answered in a monotone voice. It is true if only April could see but she hasn't noticed it yet. Something seems wrong with their eyes. They're pink and their pupils are dark purple with 5 o'clock eye shadow on their eyes and they seemed to be in a trance.
