First time at the lair

For the first time in days, Shira and her sisters have been at the turtles' lair. But they have seen the garage when the turtles lead them to where their Turtle Tank is. It was where Donnie had shown them the vehicle since he and Mikey found it at the junkyard. But this time, they are gonna be visited by the lair for the first time. Their own lair is quite small and there is not much the girls had. They feel miserable being cramped in that old, dirty and wet sewer and now, they are longing to see what was outside.

As they arrived at the lair, they looked up to see a light shining from below the skating area. They have never been here before and because of the floors up top, maybe this is where they live.

"Hello?" Shira called first. "Is anybody here?"

There was no answer.

"Maybe they must have been on patrol," Manako guessed.

A sudden touch made the girls yelp and turn around. They looked and they giggled recognizing their suprisers.

"Guess the ladies must have dropped by," Leo teased playfully.

"Oh, you dork," Shira squeaked. "You scared the carp out of us."

"What are you girls doing here?" Raph asked. "You have never been inside the lair before."

Reika began to think it over and nodded. "Yes. We saw the garage but not the entire lair you guys live in."

"Our lair is quite small and a little crowded," Tomoka agreed.

Donnie began to smile. "Well, dear, you're about to witness our perfect home." He began to stroke her face lovingly as Mikey and Leo began to giggle with a mischievous look.

"Don't tell me," Leo smirked silly. "This is gonna be your first day at our home?"

"I don't think this is the time," Reika snorted, looking away.

"We could actually explore the lair with you guys," Shira began, "If we could give us the way we might like."

"Good Idea, Shira," Raph smiled. With that done, Reika starts to join Raph while Leo, Donnie and Mikey show them around.

"Okay, Shira," Leo said as he led her to where his bedroom is. "I'm gonna show you the best thing your eyes will like."

"I sure hope this might be good," Shira said and she took a look. On the shelves, there were action figures, comics, and number one medal coins with posters covering the wall. His blanket was bright red and so comfortable to snuggle in.

"Oh, my gosh," Shira squeaked. She started to look around the room and then started to jump into the red fluffy blanket to try it out. "Your room is full of action figures and comics. Even your blanket is so soft and comfy on warm nights." She buried herself in the blanket and snuggled deep into the covers.

Leo began to laugh. "I am so glad you like it. This is where I won my medals during the game events."

Shira began to poke herself out of the blankets. "And come to think of it, all I have are a bunch of treasures I collected in the ocean. I don't do game competitions but I have a thing for finding objects." She took out her stuff from her bag to reveal an old boot, a vase, a fork. a teacup, a pipe, a mirror, pearls and sea flowers. "I love to collect objects from the sea. I know it's not much but I do love collecting things." She first began to grab the fork. "This treasure's a dinglehopper. This thing is used to straighten their hair if some don't have any hair."

"Shira," Leo corrected her. "That is a fork."

Shira looked at it and suddenly realIzed what it meant. This fork is used to pick up things like shellfish. She starts to grab the pipe. "I knew that," she chuckled. "That one is a snarfblat. It dates way back in the Victorian ages. They even make music with a single blow. Allow me." She started to put the pipe's tip in her mouth and she blew in it. As she did, seaweed and sea foam popped right out from the other end. Leo became disgusted. "Ew, it's covered in seaweed."
