Kindness of Ponies

Manako's birthday is coming up and Mikey wanted to give her something that she would love. She said that she loved ponies, including the pegasus. He and Tomoka decided that they should find the right one.

Mikey looked at the magic book of the ponies. The Unicorns are magical sacred beings that resemble horses but have horns on the heads. They can levitate objects and shoot powerful beams. They are the key to producing beauty and charm. The Pegasi are horses with wings of an eagle. They can fly in the air to control the weather, create rainbow waterfalls and help animals fly. Earth ponies are regular mares and colts but with different colors. They can help harvest the crops and kick down apple trees. They can even carry all sorts of deliveries with their saddlebags.

The most amazing creature of all is a winged and horned pony called the Alicorn, powerful horses with wings to fly and powerful magic. But most of them are very rare and hard to spot.

"I am so nervous about getting Manako a new pony," Mikey hoped. "She wanted something that is gentle and not so loud and kind to her."

Tomoka began to float above him and started to look at the signs. "We'll get there. We're just heading to the Forests of Glades. It is where all elves and fairies live together and live above huge massive tree houses."

"Wow," Mikey squeaked. "I have never been in a treehouse before. I wonder if she would even like it here?"

Tomoka was about to ask that question until they came to a stop. They are at the village center of the Forest of Glades. Above them is a huge massive tree of bridges and houses that are properly built, all the branches holding the buildings together. Most of the stables where all horses are at the tree's trunk. Market places of fruit and other supplies have been made in the very village.

Mikey and Tomoka began to walk to the main square and looked at the amazing scenery.

"Well, this must be the town square," Tomoka said.

Mikey covered his mouth in surprise, looking around as his heart thumped with joy. "This is... where Manako will like it here?" He squeals with joy. "She'll really like it here! She will have her own bakery, her own house when we get married, and even might have a companion once we find one for her!" The box turtle began to laugh delightly as he admired the view. Tomoka was quite impressed by this forest but however something dawned on her. She turned her eyes and saw a commotion on the stables. A elf with bright yellow hair with pointed ears is desperately asking anyone for help. Beside her was a pale long neck yokai. Around the neck are curled leaves and on top of the head was a leaf on her head. The elf pleaded with anyone who needed help.

"Have you seen any of our missing mares? Can you help rescue them?"

Mikey's attention snapped him to the desperate plea as the box turtle and Tomoka took notice. They began to walk up to her and wondered what was going on.

"Excuse me," Mikey asked the young elf, politely. "What are you in a hurry for?"

"All of our missing mares have been taken away by trolls. They just invaded here and took them away."

Tomoka gasped. "How many?"

"Twenty, I think," the Elf began to look up at them. "My name is Pastel and this is my Bayleef, Leafie."

Leafie let out a chirping squeal.

"Where do you think they took them?" Mikey asked him.

"To the Dark Forest," Pastel began to pull out the paper and gave them to Tomoka and Mikey. Tomoka took a nice look and read the words.

"Dark Wood Circus."

She turned to the back and found a map leading to the forest. "I wonder who put this here?"
