CW: Making out (I'm still not 100% whether or not that needs a warning)

Plot: Karl is friends with a girl called Stacy and everyone thinks that they're dating because they always hang out at her house, but truth is it isn't Stacy that Karl can't stop thinking about

Karl POV.

"Wait, so you don't like her?" Dream asks from across the table, his arm around the back of George's chair.

"Well, no," I admit shrugging.

"But you spend your weekends at her house and everyone thinks you're dating," George tells me. "Even I thought you were for a little bit,"

"No, I don't like her, and we're not dating," I say as I bite into my sandwich.

"Damn, I genuinely thought you liked her," Dream tells me as he leans back in his chair.

I look up to Dream to smile at him, but I see a figure walking behind him. My eyes trailing behind the back muscles I've memorised after many long weekends. The tightly fitted shirt barely covering the arm tattoos around their toned biceps.

"...llo? Earth to Karl?" George says as hike clicks in front of my face. My focus coming back to the conversation.

"Sorry, sorry," I shake my head to get him out of my head. "What were you saying?"

"I was asking why you hang out with her so much if you don't like her. I thought you don't like the attitudes that the cheerleaders have," George points out.

"Oh...well..." I start, but my mind goes back to the toned back.

"Well what? Karl, what is with you today? Are you okay?" Dream asks as he puts the back of his hand to my forehead from across the table.

"Oh— sorry," I apologise. "I just...I've been hanging out with Stacy, right? Everybody thinks we're dating, and I just..."

"You just?" George asks, urging me to continue.

"I've been thinking about love and stuff," I admit, making Dream raise an eye brow and George's face skew up.

"I thought you didn't like her?" George asks, still obviously confused.

"I don't...I think...I like Stacy's brother," I say quickly. Taking a bite of my sandwich before they can get me to say more.

I look up at the two of them, their faces matching one another. Dream leaning forward on his knee, his arm still behind George's chair, their heads at the same height. Both their mouths in an 'o' shape with their brows raised in surprise.

"Which one is Stacy's brother?" George asks Dream, turning to him. Knowing Dream is in the year above us and would know.

"That's Sapnap, right? Holy shit, Sapnap?" Dream asks, whipping his head to face me.

I nod slowly.

"Wait, wait, like...Sapnap, Sapnap?" George asks.

"Mmhm," I admit, my face going warm. "But please don't tell Stacy, I don't want to offend her or anything—"

"Hey, bestie!" I hear a high pitched voice call out from behind me, before arms are wrapped around my shoulders. Kind of choking me so I pull her off a little.

"Hey, Stace," I say as I stand up and hug her properly. "How was cheer practice?"

"It was good, but we have a meet this Saturday so coach has been really hard," she tells me, frowning. "Also, I won't be able to study until like 9pm on Saturday cause of the meet. You can stay at my house and stuff until then though!"
