Plot: George has a new boyfriend, but with the help of his mother he realises it isn't at all like what it used to be

Third Person POV.

"I can't wait for you to meet my parents, they're gonna love you," George tells him as they walk up to the front door, cold rain running down their backs.

"What makes you so sure?" He asks jokingly from where he's stopped, still in the cold downpour, real worry laced in his voice.

"Because," George starts as he quickly makes his way back towards the man in front of him, wrapping his arms around the taller's neck. "You're funny and amazing and handsome, and although you're mental, you're the one that I love,"

He smiles softly up at the man above him, pulling him down to a kiss, the rain falling around them making it feel like an overly dramatic movie scene. "You're the one that I love too," he whispers against George's lips, making the smaller man's heart swell with more love than he thought he could feel for someone.

"You look beautiful, George," Jared whispers, he helps him out of the car. "I can't believe we're doing this,"

"Yeah," George agrees simply. "I can't believe we're doing this either,"

George lets out a deep breath as he turns around, slowly making his way towards his parent's house. Jared rushing up behind him to take him by the hand. "Are you sure they'll like me?" Jared asks, sounding worried.

"Certain, you're wonderful," George comforts as he knocks on the door, not making eye contact with the man beside him.

"Hello! It's wonderful to finally meet you in person!" George's mother calls our excitedly as he pulls the taller man into a tight hug, leaving him no room to breathe.

"Okay, mum, I think that's enough, he needs to be able to breathe," George giggles.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, love," she apologises quickly letting the man go.

"No, no, don't apologise, Mrs. Davidson, l've been needing a good mom hug recently," the man assures her.

"Well in that case," his mother says before pulling him in for another rib crushing hug.

"Mum," George whines out.

"What are you doing now, Mary?" George's father asks as he walks up to the doorway. "Who have you trapped?"

"George's boyfriend!" She says excitedly from where he has the man in a choke hold.

"Oh, poor boy," his father jokes, earning a playful punch from his son. "Ouch, hey, kiddo, how you doing?"

"I'm doing great," George tells his father as he takes in the sight of his boyfriend and his mother embracing like they're life long friends. Feels good to be right.

"It's wonderful to meet you, Sir, sorry for being late," he apologises after he's been released from the hug, reaching out his hand to shaking George's father's.

"No need for formalities, call me Samuel," George's father tells him as he pulls the man in by his hand for a hug. George's boyfriend's eyes widen as he's flung forward, making the smaller man giggle.

"Hello, my love!" George's mother calls out excitedly as she opens the door, golden light pouring out into the dark night. She pulls George in close for a hug before turning to look at the man beside him. "You must be Jared, It's lovely to meet you," she greets before pulling him in for a hug.
