Wow! Was that a ride or what?!
Hi everyone, I'm EC Monique, but you already knew that.
I absolutely adored writing Mari and Rezran's story. I adore these two, I think their story is a little better than Obsidian Scales too! It definitely was a lot longer than the last one.
I wanted to start off by giving an apology. I know I hadn't been consistent with the updates for this story. I was recently diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression. I am in a really bad spot in my life now, and it'll be months before I can get out of it. But I've got amazing support from my family and friends that help me get through all the tough times.
That's the number one reason why I couldn't keep consistent updates. So I told my mom that although today is Thanksgiving, you guys deserve to have this completed.
So please tell me what you think! I'm looking forward to seeing your comments.
On top of that, you may be wondering: what next? Well, I got a lot of reception for one of my characters from Obsidian Scales - the silent cinnamon roll assassin: Kess!
At first, I wasn't planning on making a story about Kess. But after reading a particular comment, he started talking (or signing I guess?) to me. He wants a mate of his own, and how could I deny such a sweetheart? For his story, it will be loosely based on the story of Hades and Persephone.
After I get Kess's story done, I'll be taking a break from the Snakemen, and moving on to a story I have been wanting to write for a while. I can't wait to see how it turns out!
