Arriving home after a long-stressing-meeting Mr.Hotshot-forgetting about Kai, my mother welcomed me with a big frown on her face: "Oh great just what I need" I murmured to myself while rolling my eyes.

" My sweet daughter may I just ask you what was your reaction when I called you today and you had seemed to have forgotten about Kai."

Oh sweet mother of potatoes she was mad... Here comes the T.A.L.K.

"Jess how can you forget about him, we precisely came to an agreement that on the weekends I'll be the one taking care of him for you to have some alone time and during the week you'll take care of it"

Here she goes again talking about my son like he's some kind of antique vase that needs polishing: " Mom I'm sorry but I had some complications especially today at work and that's why it slipped from my mind."

Sighing she sat down on one of the dining chairs and I knew what she was about to say next so I cut her before: " Mom I want to take are of Kai, he is everything to me and you know that. Don't worry he'll grow up to be a very-loving grandchild who'll visit his grandparents house before even coming back home after work."

She giggled. PHEW...

And putting that behind us, my little bundle of joy came to me running with Mr.fluffy in his arms (a.k.a teddy bear) and just when I crunched down a bit he jumped on me hugging me with his small feet by the waist and his arms around my neck and started kissing my face and yelling: " Mommy I missed you."

Laughing out loud I started spinning around in circles, making him laugh and asking for more and showering him with sloppy kisses all over his face.

"Now, now you two stop it it's like you haven't seen each other for a year. Hello aunt B."

"UNCLE RON!!!!" screamed Kai and wiggled out of my arms and got picked up by Ron and they started doing flying heroes in the air.

"Who's the one now that's acting like they haven't seen each other for a year?" I asked laughing seeing their crazy faces as they pose and say 1,2,3 Go.

"He does look like John doesn't he?" said my mom as she starred at the happy sight in front of her. I just nodded indicating I do not want to talk about that subject now.

My mom glancing at me, patted my shoulder and sighed...
