Chapter 45

~ Jessica POV ~

We woke up at 9A.M when Kai came into our room crying that he was hungry and needed a diaper change. Oh yeah that was a 'need to change my diaper' cry.

I got out of bed, good thing I had some clothes on for the first time after waking up next to Daniel Dexter. And the cute thing was that, he too, was wearing a black T-shirt and black boxers.

Taking Kai, I hurriedly went to his bedroom, washed him and changed his clothes.

Half an hour later, everyone was awake and seated in the terrace eating breakfast.

-"Mommy my room has a lot of toys. Can I go and play after I eat?" Kai asked me with his mouth full and all dirty with chocolate.

-"Yes you can and baby whenever there's food in your mouth remember to chew then talk okay?"

Nodding his head he continued eating fast then he got down from his chair and quickly ran off inside the house.

-"Well I'm going to leave you guys as well. But my intentions are not so innocent." Ron told Daniel and I as he stood up then winked and walked off.

I knew he was going to downtown to meet up with some guys. That guy was an online dater. If the media founded out that the big underwear hot ginger headed supermodel was gay... oh well... we will see what happens if that ever takes place.
Plus that was Ron's way of telling me to spend more time to get to know Daniel.

-"Daniel what's your secret? I've told you everything. It's my turn to know more about you now."

Smiling at me, he stood up, offered me his hand that I accepted and lead me back inside the house.

-"When I was a kid, I was always alone. During vacations my dad would send me here with my nanny. I lived alone here during all of my summer vacations with the housekeepers. I believed that my dad would come and join me but as I got older I realized that he was only keeping me away."

I was only listening. I wasn't planning to cut him off because I really wanted him to tell me everything about him. About his childhood, adolescence, adulthood and how he became THE Daniel Dexter.

He guided me to a big door which he opened and the room revealed to be a big library.

-"This room was the place I always spent my time in. Reading, researching, studying. I wanted to impress everyone. Especially my dad so that he gives me some attention but all I got were new books that he gifted me during Christmas and birthdays. Later on I knew that my nanny was reporting him with everything and she was the one who went and bought those books and gifted them to me."

We were now seating on a couch that was in the middle of the library. I had my arms wrapped around him as I let him continue.

-"I'm not telling you this to feel bad about me. The reading and studying really helped me getting a good degree and to where I am now. That's what I want you to know babe, that whatever you see and whoever my dad is where I am now I did it all by myself."

-"I have no doubt in that baby." I told him as I looked at him smiling.

-"You met my dad at the party, what did you think of him?"

Shrugging my shoulders I explained: "Well he seemed nice but I kind of felt creeped. Like the way he looked seemed intimidating. It was scary."

He laughed loudly.
-"Yes baby I know. I know..."

We cuddled on the couch surrounded in books. He kissed my forehead, then my neck.

-"You're the first woman that I brought in this house. To this room and oh baby I've always wanted to make love to the woman I love on this couch. This is my secret place babe. You've got all my walls down. I'm all yours here." He said as he turned as he got on top and kissed me hard.

-"Wait, wait Daniel! Kai is in the house..."

-"Don't worry, Rose is looking after him" Rose was the elderly house keeper who also took care of Daniel. She was the one who got him all those gifts he talked about. I need to talk with that woman soon so that she tells me good stories about him.

-"Now please let me make love to you baby." He mumbled against my chest as slowly started taking off my shirt and pants.

Letting him do whatever he wants with me again.
Let him kiss me, taste me.
Let him make me his again and again and again.

Touching his shoulders, his abs.
Looking at him sweating and groaning on top of me.
I would never get enough of that look in his eyes as he moved his hips against mine slowly but intensively.

After about I don't know how much of love making, we got back into our cuddling position, my hand on his chest and I laid down on his shoulder, covered only by a blanket that was on the couch.

-"This blanket was the one that I always used whenever I slept here which was practically every night. Now I'm glad I'm sharing it with you Jessica."

Kissing him on his chest I picked up the courage to ask him the following question.
-"Daniel what happened to your mom?"

I felt his muscles getting tensed then sighing he said: "She passed away after she realized my father was with other women."

-"I'm really sorry."

-"It's fine. I don't remember much of her anyway. I was probably as the same age as Kai when it happened. My father was giving her the high end life but all she wanted was him to be by our side. So she got really sick and eventually passed away."

-"I am sure she would have been very proud of she had seen you where you are now and what you've accomplished."

-"I think even if she was here and saw me she would only want to be with my father."

Keeping silent, I hugged him close and wished if I could make his pains go away. Even if it was for a little while then I added: "I wish I had met her Daniel because if it wasn't for her we wouldn't be here now. You wouldn't be here with me."

-"Come on let's get up. How about I take you and Kai to the beach? I know it's a little bit cold to go for a swim but we can walk around and get some fresh air.

Nodding my head we got up and went to our room to clean up quickly and change our clothes.

Getting Kai we drove off to the beach...
The sky was not a bright blue but I knew that whatever happens we will be together facing the problems and making new memories...

Hello my lovely readers!!!

First of all I am really sorry that I couldn't upload an update sooner as I promised you guys. I am still on vacation and I haven't had time to sit and write a chapter. Plus my writer's block was back so whenever I had a little time I wasn't able to write anything.

But hopefully now I'm back!!
