The next morning, I wake up earlier than I anticipated. I walk over and pull open the curtains. The sun is just peaking over the trees. When I arrived at The School For Good as a teen, I was one of the first students. If the schedule for arriving students is the same, I still have many hours to get ready. I run myself a hot bath to help calm my nerves. Once I'm freshly bathed, I put my hair into a half up half down do, with a relatively loose bun sitting at the back. As I walk over to my closet, I decide on what dress I'm going to wear. I pull out a gown with gold leaves printed down the torso and sleeves. I glance at myself in the mirror. Gorgeous. Mother would be proud.

Before I leave my quaters, I pull a sheet of paper and a pen from my desk.

Dear Arthur,

I know I said I would write to you as soon as I arrived, but I got too caught up in sorting out things and catching up with familiar faces.
Today is the day Tedros and the other students arrive at the schools.
It's been a lovely start, and I already feel so welcome.
Professor Dovey is just like I told you; kind and motherly.

I hope all is going well at home. I was looking in the Library and found a book called 'The tale of Camelot." It is full of lies, but was definitely worth the read.
I love and miss you.

I'll make sure Tedros stays in check while he's here. He is his fathers son after all.

Sending you love, and even a bit of strength that I know you don't need,

Your sister, Y/n

As I'm sealing the envelope, an owl swoops in and steals it from my hands, hooting on the way out. I smile and sigh. I walk over to my crown stand and pull out my 'welcome crown', placing it on my head. I step in front of the mirror. "I haven't worn this is months." I mutter to myself. I take it off and put it back on the stand, smiling. "I'll be back for you." I say, leaving the room. I make my way to the library. As I walk in, I'm greeted by a smile. "Miss Y/n, it's lovely to see you." the Librarian says, warmly. I smile. "It's lovely to see you too. I just wanted to inform you that I have 'The tale of Camelot' and I'm hoping to show Tedros." I explain. The librarian nods. "I figured it was you who had it. That's all good, love. Bring it back once you're done. No hurry." she tells me. I smile and nod, leaving to catch breakfast.

During breakfast, everyone is chatting about the arriving students. Professor Dovey, as if she could read my mind, informs me that the students will be arriving at the same time as the group I arrived with did. Perfect. I quickly finish breakfast then head to my classroom to make sure everything is sorted. As I walk up through the halls, I'm met by the familiar clacking of a staff and heels. I swivel my head around. "Good morning, Lady Lesso." I greet with a nod and smile. "Good morning to you too, Princess." she replies, now walking beside me. "No crown today?" she asks. I laugh slightly. "Not yet. I am going to grab my 'welcome crown', as I like to call it, later." I explain. "Whatever is a 'welcome crown?" she questions, clearly confused. "It's the crown I would wear whenever someone of importance would come to Camelot." I tell her. "And since I'm no longer in Camelot, I can use it here when new students arrive."

The pair of us subconsiously make our way to the assembly hall where other staff members are setting up for the soon to be arriving students. As I start to help set up, I notice Lady Lesso leaning against a wall. "Aren't you going to help set up?" I ask, reaching for a small bench. "No, I'll watch though." she replies, a slight smirk forming on her lips. I roll my eyes playfully. As I'm placing benches around the hall, I feel Lady Lesso's intense gaze fixed on me. I try my best to block the feeling out, but after a while, it becomes too much to ignore. "You're staring, Lady Lesso." I tell her as I place down one of the final benches. "Come on Princess, enough with the 'Lady'. Just call me 'Lesso', and no, I wasn't staring." she replies. "Alright Lesso, and yes you were." I argue. As she's about to argue back, Professor Dovey walks into the hall. "Looking fantastic everyone, the students will be here in about two hours." she projects to everyone. She turns around, Lesso and I catching her attention. "Lady Lesso, what a surprise it is seeing you in here." she says. "I'm only here because Princess Y/n was helping set up." she explains. Professor Dovey nods slowly, looking my way. I blush slightly. "Right, well, I must get going. I have Dorm and Class rosters to grab." she tells us, leaving the hall.
