The next morning, I wake up sweating. I have a shower in attempt to clear me head. As I'm getting dressed, I notice Dovey and Lesso walking out by the Blue Forest. I can't hear what is being said, but Dovey's hand and arm movements suggest she's not in an okay mood. Once I'm ready, I head to Tedros's dorm. I knock. Tristan answers. "Hey Tristan, is Tedros here?" I ask with a smile. He rolls his eyes. "No, he left with his Never girlfriend earlier. I didn't bother asking where they were going." he tells me. I nod. "Okay, thanks. See you later." I say before leaving.

All classes had been called off prior to today. Nobody, including all staff, were in the right mindset to learn or teach today. I decide to skip breakfast as my nerves have led to me to feel nauseous. I decide to head to the Library. "Princess Y/n, welcome." the librarian says with a warm smile. "Good morning. Has Tedros returned that book from the beginning of the year?" I ask, leaning on the librarians desk. She nod. "Yes, he returned it last week when he came to get books about the Trial by Tale." she explains. I sigh. "Perfect. I was starting to think he had forgotten about it." I tell her. She laughs.

"How are you feeling about today?" the librarian asks as I pull a book from a dusty shelf. I turn to her. "Nervous. Very, very nervous." I reply. She nod in understanding. "I'm assuming that's why you're skipping breakfast." she says. I nod. "Yes, it is. I feel sick from the nerves." she places a hand on my arm. "Everything will go okay, Princess. I know it will." she says reassuringly. "I hope so. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if it went wrong." I say. She gives me a sympathetic smile, then walks away.

As I flick through the pages of the book, I hear the sound of a staff clacking firmly on the ground. I keep my head down in the book. Lesso walks along aisles, then stops at the end of mine. "Y/n." she says simply. "Leonora." I reply. She slowly walks towards me. "You weren't at breakfast."she says. "I know. I didn't feel like eating." I explain. "Nerves?" she asks. I nod. "I've told you everything is going to be fine." she says, reaching me. I close the book. "I know, but I just can't help feeling like something is going to go wrong." I tell her. She rubs my back. "It'll be fine, Y/n. Now come. They're about to gather everyone onto the field to watch."

We walk out to the field. Lesso walks over to Dovey. I walk over to Sophie and Tedros. Dovey and Lesso watch us. "How are you guys feeling?" I ask. They both look tired. "Anxious." Sophie says. "Yeah, me too." I laugh. She smiles. "Everything is going to go okay. We will beat this, then we'll be able to be happy." Tedros says. I crack a smile. "Well, I'll leave you guys to it." I hug them both. Sophie looks shocked because of my sudden affection, but she hugs me back. "I'm very proud of you both." I say. They both nod with a smile. I walk over to Lesso and Dovey.

"How're you feeling, Princess?" Dovey asks. "Fine, nervous, sick. I'm doing great." I say. "Hopefully it all goes well. If it does, we'll be able to live in harmony. No more wars between Good and Evil. Hell, I don't even think Good and Evil will exist much after this." she says. I smile. "Well, that's good. I don't really believe in Good and Evil anyways." I reply. "I can tell." she says, smiling. I look at Lesso who is smiling too. "Shall we get this started, Lady Lesso?" Dovey asks. Lesso nods. They both stand in front of the students. "Good morning students. Welcome to the Trial by Tale where Sophie of Gavaldon and Prince Tedros of Camelot will be competing to prove their love for one another." Dovey says. The Headmaster appears in front of the Deans as claps, as well as 'boo's' are expressed.

As the Headmaster is explaining the rules, Agatha walks up to me. "I feel anxious as hell." she says. I nod, looking at her. "Me too, honey. You're not the only one." I tell her. She stands and listens with me. "Prince Tedros, you will enter through the right gate. Sophie, you will enter through the left gate. Once you meet up, you will make your way to the centre gate and walk through together. At any point do you feel like you can not go on, you can drop your red cloth and you will be teleported out." the Headmaster explains.
