A.N: Thank you guys for 1.53k reads. I'm shocked fr :D

The rest of the day flies by. Gregor ends up taking a stack of about four, maybe five, books from the library. The next morning, before breakfast, I'm met by Lady Lesso leaning against the wall outside my class door. "Good morning, Lady Lesso." I say with a cheeky bow. "Good morning, Princess. How are you feeling after yesterday?" she asks, bowing back. I laugh. This fucking woman. "I'm feeling fantastic. I do, however, have another very large scar." I reply. "I'd love to see that scar some time." she says. I smirk, but she can't see it. "I'm sure you will." I respond. I hear her breathing hitch ever so slightly. My smirk widens.

"Unfortunately, I haven't figured out who was behind that ball of death from yesterday." she sighs. I stand in front of her and grab both of her hands. "Leonora, stop this. Stop beating yourself up over it. I'm alive, okay. I'm not in pain anymore. Please, just move on." she looks me dead in the eyes, the muscles in her face softening. She doesn't say anything. "Leonora." I try again. She drops her head forward. "Fine. I'll try forget about the fact that you almost died yesterday because one of my stupid ass students couldn't control their magic ball of doom. It's not like it's a big deal anyways." she says sarcastically. I scoff. "Why are you so upset about it?" I ask, confused. "Because it scared the shit out of me, Y/n. Seeing you like that... it scared me." she says, her voice getting quieter.

I drop my head with a sigh. I can't think of anything to say so I pull her into a hug. "I'm sorry. I had no idea yesterdays incident made you feel that way. If figuring out who caused it all makes you feel better, go ahead. I can't stop you. But please Leonora, please don't harm anyone. Not to an extreme measure at least." I beg. She doesn't reply. I pull back, her hands resting on my shoulders as mine hold her arms. "Please?" She sighs, breaking eye contact for a quick second. "Okay, Princess. I won't harm anyone too much if that's what you want." she answers. I nod calmly. "Thank you, Leonora. It is what I want." she nods. I hug her again. There is seriously something amazing about the way she holds me. She's so warm, even though she seems to cold. She's so careful, even though she seems so careless.

As we stand there in eachothers arms, an owl flutters through an open window, dropping an envelope on my desk. I pull back. It has the crest of Camelot stamped on it. I gasp. "What is it, Princess?" Lesso asks, letting me go. "It's a letter from Arthur. I sent him one on Monday. I'm assuming this is his reply." I explain. I carefully open the envelope and pull out the letter inside. I read it aloud

My dear sister, Y/n,

I'm glad all is going well. I just know Tedros settled in nicely. He's always been good when it comes to stuff like that.

That book - "The Tale of Camelot" - I've heard about it. It sounds very interesting.

Camelot isn't at all the same without you and Tedros here. I miss you both so much.

Please tell Tedros that I love and miss him.

Y/n, Mother would be so proud of you. I am proud of you.

Please do keep Tedros in check for me. You're very right, he is his fathers son. God knows what trouble he'll get into while being there.

I love you so, so much.

I hope everything goes the way you wish it to.

Keep me updated,

Your darling brother, Arthur

The last line causes me to laugh. Lesso's eyes shift from the letter, to me. "He always refers to himself as my 'darling brother'. I think it boosts his ego." I speak. Lesso snorts. I place the sheet of paper on my desk with a sigh. "Are you going to write back?" Lesso asks, shifting against the desk. I shake my head. "Not right now, I'll do it tonight." I reply. I stand. "Let's head to breakfast, shall we?" I suggest. Lesso stands up straight. "We shall." she replies. I smile. We walk side my side to the dining hall.
